I like this for what it is, but it seems to be a little bit too textured or porous or something and when ink gets anywhere on the surface, it's really difficult to remove with blue soap, green soap, or rubbing alcohol. I was able to clear the surface with a pencil eraser, but then it started to rip up the freshly tattooed "skin." Full disclosure, I'm doing stick and pokes. This may not be an issue with a machine. overall, happy that I bought this. EDIT: I found out about using vaseline to get the extra ink off of the surface. 5 stars, happy customer.

Really soft and pliable, unlike other practice skins I’ve gotten from Amazon. Pretty thin but that’s fine since I’m still learning so it’ll help teach needle depth n stuff. I haven’t tried it yet cuz I ran out of ink.

I really disliked the way the ink went on the skins. It didn’t matter what type of ink the skin was not absorbing the ink very well and what ink went on the skin stayed on the skin wouldn’t wipe out very well.

Great practice skins!

10 sheets of blank practice tattoo skins. These are really great! They feel like real skin almost! They can be used front and back, cut in half for smaller tattoo practice. They have a nice thickness to them and don't move around when laid on a table surface. Great practice piece!

These things are so perfect I was able to get a lot of practicing in and not have the stress of messing up. This fake skin was pretty similar to real skin as far as I can tell and it's probably more stretchy and elastic but it will give you a good idea of how good you are LOL. I enjoy practicing and I will definitely be getting more of these skins.
