When I first took this light out of the box, my impression was, oh my gosh, this looks kind of cheap.I'm not sure if i'm going to like it. I decided to go ahead and put it up and use it as a temporary light until I found something I liked better. I already had two of the l.E d mirrors on the wall, but they just weren't bright.Enough for getting ready & putting on my makeup in the morning. The installation was very easy, and went smoothly using only a tape measure, pencil, drill and screwdriver. Once it was up on the wall, I stepped back and was so impressed at how great it looked. Up on the wall, it does not look cheap at all. I did not install a dimmer with it, but at its normal brightness it was just wonderful in the bathroom. Pros: metal, well made, flush mount, easy install, good appearance, very bright, hardware included, instructions clear, well packaged, knock-outs for alternative wiring location, internal wire manager guides, plenty of extra holes for securing fixtures. Cons: the only one is the color temperature setting. You flip the switch within 3s to cycle colors, which is fine, except there is no memory so if you like warmest 3000K you have to flip the switch three times EVERY TIME you want the light on. That's plain dumb. Who wants that? They should have just had a dip switch on the fixture, set it once and be done. Thankfully the default is 5000K, which is the first setting and the one Iwanted. Otherwise I would have returned it just for that reason. ... show more

We bought one of these lights for our kitchen, and we loved it so much we bought two more to install in other areas. When I first opened the box it seemed flimsy and cheap, and you do have to be gentle with it because it is pretty light weight, but it is so easy to install and looks like a much more expensive light once it's mounted. I love the built in dimming feature (if you toggle your light switch it decreases in brightness from 100% to 50% and then to 25% and back to 100%, no special switch or wiring needed!!) the default 100% setting is really bright. Absolutely love it, and will probably install a few more. ... show more

Really looks good! And puts out some light ! Makes working in my kitchen so much nicer I can see well on all sides of my counter top. And you toggle the light switch for 3 different levels of light with slight color change. It really brightened my kitchen. My husband had it up and on in no time! He wants a couple more of them in his shop over his work bench. It really puts out a nice light with out a glare. ... show more

Nice and bright. Relatively easy to install. I did have to have someone help secure to the ceiling because those “support cable” things don’t really do it These are not fancy but are nice enough. Stupid thing about these is that you switch it on and off to cycle the 3 colors. Pretty much every time you switch your light on it may be a different “temperature” which is stupid.not a dealbreaker.
