    • My Second one, different style, not as thrilled as I was with the first

This is my second belt from this vendor. While I really liked the first one and still use it, I thought I would try a different style of "buckle". On this model, I bought a buckle which looks as though it has the traditional "nub" showing that secures the belt. What I didn't realize was that the surplus belt material after threading thru the buckle, would be on the INSIDE of the belt, rather than the exterior, like the first version does. I am your typical American fat man, pear shaped, and residing in one of the FREE states, I carry an additional heavy object or two either in my pants or on my belt at all times. I need a tight belt to hold them up, especially since I am not a Jailhouse street walking penguin and never will be. It is more difficult to push/pull through the belt material to tighten this belt adequately through the ratchet than with the other style. I have only had the belt for a few days at this point. While it is stylish and seems of good quality, I cannot give an honest review of its durability or stretchiness, and am not certain if it will be getting returned. ... show more

The belt is not the easiest to thread through the buckle. And the strap tightens on the INSIDE of the belt making very inconvenient to pull to tighten. There is not supposed to be any stretch and this does not, so I guess that's good. I honestly do not know it's durability as yet since I have only had it a couple weeks. Updated review...While I was not crazy about the inside belt strap pull of this belt, Fairwin's customer service was wonderful. They sent me a replacement belt that has an outside belt strap pull and it is much easier to work with. I am much happier with this belt...and am very impressed with their customer service. I would recommend this belt! ... show more
