8 Month Update: I've had this freezer filled to the brim and set at a frosty -14 degrees for the past 8 months now, and it's been great. I occasionally have had to carefully scrape some frost off the edges, so the door seals well, and have recently had to clean what looks like mold growing in the outer crevices of the rubber gasket on the door - comes off easily. I have had no complaints. At some point I plan to eat through what is in it and then let it thaw and give it a clean. What Could Be Improved: The ONLY complaint I have is that the blue light that shows the temperature at the bottom is too bright and I put something in front of it at night to block the light otherwise it illuminates the entire room (my bed is in the same room and I can't sleep with it on). I can see the benefit of having it on all the time so you can monitor the temperature, but red light would be a less harsh color. Was worried about ordering this based on some of the reviews about defective or damaged products. Thankfully I have had a positive experience so far. The only cosmetic issue I had was that the motor vent was popped out. It works really well, keeps things nicely frozen, and can hold quite a bit of stuff for how compact it is. It’s the perfect size for a small space. Worth the price for the size.

This is perfect for an extra room without buying a huge chest freezer. Runs quietly. Compact size doesn’t take too much space I like the setting readout and adjustment on the front. I did put a thermometer in mine and it’s right on with the setting. I do think it could be priced about $25.00 less but when shipped with prime it accounts for the difference you might pay in Sams or Costco for a similar size. I’m very happy with it. Mine is in the garage where it does get hot in the summer. I saved the top styrofoam packing as extra insulation. I certainly didn’t notice a difference in the electric bill having added it.

I bought this chest freezer in December 2023 and today is the first time I have had to defrost it. It did have some ice buildup but not bad considering how long it's been in constant use. The reason I never defrosted it before is because I keep finding bargains and never let it get empty enough to defrost it haha. It only took about 15 minutes to get the ice buildup off the walls using a hair dryer set on low to help speed up the process and this method let me get big chunks of ice off at once so nothing even drained out through the drain plug. I wiped it down with an old towel and will plug it back in once I'm sure it's totally dry. I highly recommend this freezer because it's very quiet, lightweight and holds more than you would think. I keep one of those magnetic notepads on it so I can list what's inside since it's easy to forget what's on the bottom! I never noticed any increase in my electric bill so I figure this paid for itself already by allowing me to stock up on meat and frozen items when they're on sale.

Both panels are sticking out because whatever piece thats on the inside is hanging down where it's not even supposed to be. The door is crushed on one side. The box wasn't damaged so it had to have gotten damaged beforehand. Very disappointed. Was excited because it was the perfect size for me.
