  • Better than I expected
Color: Black Size: S(32"-38"Waist)
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m taking one of my kids to a youth pistol class and I needed a sturdy belt that was infinitely adjustable and could support an OWB pistol holster and magazine pouches. I thought this would be a good value, but the price was very low so I was skeptical. I was surprised by how good it was. The design is pretty simple, but it works very well. It holds very well. It seems quite rigid and doesn’t crush or flex when squeezed top to bottom, while not being uncomfortable. It fit me very well (adult male, 34 inch waist), but I was able to cut it and use a lighter to melt the end, like you can on any nylon strap product. My kid loves this belt and has decided to use it as his everyday belt. As a firearms instructor, I know what belts work and what belts don’t when it comes to supporting a holster. While there are some better belts on the market that are built specifically for this purpose, this belt is adequate for that purpose and would make a good value option for shooters who don't have the budget for a purpose-built CCW belt. Ease of use: It doesn’t get a whole lot easier than this. Push it through until it’s tight, then lift the lever to loosen or remove. ... show more

  • Good belt for a perfect fit with some required effort to buckle and unbuckle.
Color: Light Grey Size: S(32"-38"Waist)
The strap is fine material. The buckle material is good. It looks good. The belt tongue end is pushed into the buckle and there is a little gate that makes in one way movement until a small lever on the bottom of buckle opens the gate allowing movement both directions. If the belt is worn loose the lever is easily moved. The tighter the belt, the more difficult it is to move the lever. It works best by pushing more belt in the tightening direction simultaneously to moving the lever. Then holding the lever the belt can be pulled out of the buckle. The bottom line is this belt can be adjusted to the exact size desired with no slipping during wearing with the trade off of requiring extra time and effort to fasten and unfasten the belt. ... show more

  • Best civilian trouser belt I've found!
Color: Black Size: M(36"-42"Waist)
Great fit; easy to adjust the virtually infinite range between "utility" and comfort. Good balance of style, durability and comfort.

  • The greatest belt ever made!!!
Color: Black Size: M(36"-42"Waist)
This is the second time I purchased a belt like this from fairwin.. hands down the best belt I've ever owned in my entire life. They have stood the test of time wear and tear my older belt has scratches on the metal pieces but has never failed me once I've gained weight and lost weight but the belt still holds up. This newer one that I bought my only criticism is the buckle is different and doesn't notch as easily as the older models that don't have the metal buckle completely covered those work better because the actual Notch feature that ties or clamps the nylon is in the middle as opposed to the end of the buckle it's still a nice belt and I believe it'll stand the test of time like the original one I bought it just seems a little bit more difficult to clamp then the OG version. I still recommend the belt to anyone who is tired of buying belts over and over again because they fall apart or because you might gain a little bit of weight and the belt you have doesn't have enough notches. I will never buy another leather belt again as long as I live because these belts will Outlast a leather belt and probably outlive me. ... show more

  • Great Belt, Until It Fell Apart, But Here's the Easy Fix!
Color: Black Size: XL(46"-50"Waist)
This was a great belt until the buckle came apart. It's easy to use and the ratchet feature allows you to tighten or loosen for that just right fit. I read where some people have trouble with this, but I don't. Really does a great job of holding up your pants or shorts that need a belt. Looks good too! But...and this is a biggie...the buckle is held together with 2 of the tiniest Philips screws I've ever seen. One of these screws worked its way loose and the buckle just came apart. I remember thinking this could be an issue when I opened the box and found a tiny cellophane baggie with 2 tiny little replacement screws inside. Luckily, I kept them and using a tiny screwdriver and magnifying specs and a headlamp I have for fixing watches and my wife's jewelry I was able to repair the buckle. I added some superglue to keep the screws from coming loose again. I think the female threads were stripped out where the screw goes in also. But so tiny I couldn't see to say for sure. Hopefully that will take care of the issue, but what a pain in the ass. Just plain old poor design a two-piece buckle is. Rivets or even better a solid buckle instead of two pieces would be better design. Moral of the story is keep the replacement screws because you will need them. I'm not returning anything, and I be damned if I buy another belt or exchange it. If the screws fail again, I'm drilling out the holes and fixing it with pop rivets lmao. Update 03/07/2023 The super glue fix worked great so I’m bumping my review to 4 stars!! Update 04/02/2024…Glue still holding belt works great lol Update 01/19/25 super glue fixes still working belt is great last update I’m doing for this item lmao Update 03/15/2025 Must have jinxed myself on Jan 9. The superglue fix finally failed, no surprise. So now hopefully here's the easy permanent fix. You will need 1/8" drill bit to drill out the female thread posts, and I used 3/16"pop rivets with 5/8" grab because the buckle thickness with the belt layer is 3/8". Then use the Dremel tool to cut the nubs flush to the buckle plate. You will need to do this, or the belt can't pass through to the ratchet mechanism. I included pictures of the screws so you can see how incredibly tiny they are. You can still see superglue residue on them. I wouldn't be going thru all this if I didn't really like this belt. Fairwin, you keep making them and we'll keep fixing them!! ... show more

  • Great Buy and Quality
Color: Cloudy Size: M(36"-42"Waist)
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I received a Black medium (36”-42”) as a gift and liked it due to quality, weight and thickness of belt. I order a grey one as well. I really like that the extra on belt goes behind the belt so no flapping. I am a 36” waist and recommend medium for the length. I have had for a month with no issues and very pleased. Great buy for the money. ... show more
