    • Very good sleeper love seat for limited space

This sofa (love seat) sleeper is ideal for people with limited space. The good: It is very easy to put together. All parts arrived on time (there is an extra shipping fee, which was reasonable), the instructions good. It took me about 30 minutes total. You might need help with the pull out frame, which is a little heavy, but I was able to insert it alone. (Just don't put the front section on until that is done, in my opinion.) So, it could also be disassembled for a move almost as easily. It is quite sturdy and the sofa part is reasonably comfortable, not like a high-end sofa, but good, and reasonably attractive. The sleeper part is easy to pull out, and they even put a little fold-down platform in the back (which I didn't even notice in the instructions, but did in a review video) to hold the bottom cushions vertically in place. Also, the whole thing weighs only 85 lbs. (their ad), compared to about double that weight for other full-sized sleeper sofas. That's what I was looking for, a piece of furniture that is lighter-weight. Now, the cup holders, USB ports (only good for phone these days, not pads or computers, but they work), and LED lights beneath I at first thought were superfluous. But, I've gotten to like them and actually use them all! The bad: The mattress is not full-size. It is about 6" less wide that a standard full-size, but full-sized sheets can fit okay. Also, the matress is just not thick enough. It looks like it is standard foam with less than 1" of memory foam (maybe; a blue-layer anyway) as a top layer. The first night, I felt the frame beneath on my hip-bone when sleeping on my side. I remedied this by purchasing a 1.5" memory full-size foam pad, which I had to cut to fit, but was able to slip into the mattress cover. This may have maxed the thickness (so careful if you do this; maybe a 1" memory foam pad would be better), but I am able to close it okay with sheets on, and it is now quite comfortable. The frame beneath, which has wood slates, is strong and distributes weight fairly well. To the company: You have a good product. But, please upgrade/improve it! Make a second model with a true full-size frame and mattress and make the mattress thicker; add at least another 1" of memory foam. Despite the problems, I'm still giving this 5 stars overall. Surprised at how comfortable the sofa is. Easy to assemble and with an added thin topper which fits when closed the bed is very comfortable. Great value for a small space at the cabin.

This is a poorly made love seat. It is not a sofa. It was advertised as a sofa bed. The pull out bed is no more than a twin. Now it's come in 50 pieces and there's no way I can return it The seller is trying to make it sound like the assembly is the issue. It is already assembled. It is hard uncomfortable and cheaply made. But the biggest issue is it is a love seat, not a sofa. This is not a full size bed.. it's barely a twin. This was totally false advertising and now he wants me to disassemble it and put it in a box and send it back to him. ... show more
