Very sturdy to sit on. It looks just like the picture. I liked it well enough to order a second one. A great addition to have in the room. One company pops in as an extra seat. Meanwhile, my grandbaby uses it to put books on and read while she stands. So easy to move around.

While this is advertised as furniture for the home or office, it matches other Factory Direct Partners softscape products we have in the playroom so this seemed like a great addition. We have it on the side of the playroom and it is great for adults who want to come and sit without taking up a lot of space like a couch. As with all Factory Direct Partners products, these seem to be of great quality and I expect they will stand up well to years of use. I really like the Crimson red color. It is a deeper red so it doesn't dominate the room by being too bright but it also definitely has the feel you want in a kid's playroom. It is a firm surface to sit on and it has enough padding that it is comfortable for sitting and we don't have to worry about any hard edges when kids are playing. The price of $190 does feel a bit on the expensive side for a simple rectangular box. If it opened with storage space inside it would be easier to justify the price. We ordered this as an addition to our playroom. The kids love it. It’s heavy, but has gliders that help you slide it very easily across the floor. As a seat, it is very firm though comfortable. The fabric is a thick, durable polyurethane that is easy to wipe down when there’s a spill or if you just want to sanitize it after kids jumped all over it at a party. This square ottoman is very nicely made and the stitching is done very well. It's pretty comfortable to sit on but the padding could be a little thicker. The faux leather is very smooth and soft. The ottoman is much more lightweight than I thought it would be. It has vinyl protectors on the bottom to prevent scratching but it slides around very easily on my tile. Be have a small travel trailer and the only negative to me was that there wasn't really a good place to put my feet up. I got the small ottoman and placed it at the end of our dinette so I could rest my feet on it and it's almost perfect. I just have to add a pillow to lift it up to the perfect height for maximum comfort. I have adjusted the feet up to their highest point but it feels sturdier if they are lower. That's not a knock on the foot rest, the dimensions are clearly stated and are accurate, I just need to find a solution for my situation to make it perfect. The item is very quality and the color is as it looks on the site. Being lightweight is great as well as weight is always a consideration when towing things and I am really happy that this is light, but quite sturdy. ... show more
