This was literally the least-cost option for the countertop filter and filter units I wanted……….honestly, I wasn’t expecting that much because of that. This took me off guard! It’s much thicker than I had expected, and beautifully packaged and finished. It exudes pride in product, I didn’t expect that. Some reviews mentioned that the valve might be questionable……….so I bought the nicest one I could find on Amazon. Guess what valve the unit came with? Yep, down to the same washers in the box. :) So, if you want or need one of these, buy this one! I’ve already got a second one, and some filter variety in my cart………..because just having this on the shelf as a spare is worth it to me.

I really love mine. Water tastes fabulous! The directions were not great (which I knew reading the reviews) and the spot is not centered because I didn’t have to proper tools to get it tight and straight at the same time, but still functions great. Filtered through about 3 cycles before I used it to drink. Great product

We purchased this after the train derailment in Ohio because we were just outside of the zone they were saying wasn't safe. Since it felt like we should be extra careful, and we couldn't afford the name brand one, we got this one. The water tastes great and seems to be filtering well. A few cons are that it took us two tries to get it together and we had the spout open the first time so water leaked out. The other negative is that the bottom holds less than the top so if you fill the top too much, instead of stopping, it starts to leak out of the middle where the connect. We also had it knocked over twice because of kids/pets and it being too low to the ground so we moved it higher and haven't had any issues since. I think it was a really great buy for the money!

I compared reviews for this item and another popular and much more expensive brand. The lower reviews for this brand had to do with what could be considered poor customer attention to detail in setup or maybe a lost part or two. The other brand had many lower reviews for things like bad taste, rusty parts, leaking, trash or debris in the filtered water, etc.. I opted for the FACHIOO with the 2 ceramic filters, the metal water level and spigot and the stand. The only thing I would suggest is wash the dust off the outside of the filters before install and run 2 batches of water through along with a rinse of the lower tank. This eliminates any residual ceramic grit that may come out of the interior of the filter that may collect in the bottom. Otherwise, ensure the spigot is tightened well, place a tub underneath it for the first 2 runs to be sure you tightened it right, then enjoy! The parts are all very well made. The manual could be a bit clearer as it covers all of their filter systems in the same booklet, otherwise it was easy enough to follow.

This is well made and easy to assemble. After throwing away the first two batches, we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious clean water. We had a problem with water in our county being musty with an off taste and odor. The county said it was not harmful but it was very off putting. Now we make coffee, cook and sip clean water!

Although the instruction booklett was lacking (a lot) I seemed to be able to put it together and after 3 flushings the water was fine. Tasted good and no spicket drips or leaks.

Our tap water does not taste good. For years, we purchased reverse osmosis filtered water for ourselves and our pets from a health food store. We're moving soon to a place with hard water so we decided to give this a try. A taste test with the reverse osmosis water, and we couldn't tell the difference. Wish we had done this sooner.
