We purchased these collars for our 3 new puppies (appx. 6 mo. old at the time). These were prefect. I never wanted to use the "shock" feature but these collars make it so you can turn it down to practically nothing. After testing it on my husband we found that the low setting of 10 would get the point across with more of a "shock" of surprise than a "shock" of pain. We got our puppies trained that they get 3 "beeps", then if still not following directions (of staying in the yard and not trying to socialize with every person that walks down the street) we would use the "vibrate" once, and if still not following directions, they will get the "zap". After the first use, they got the pattern. They know their boundaries based on "beep" training and when they do get up the courage to try and break that, it never takes more than a ''vibrate" for them to reconsider. The collar batteries last for days, especially after initial introduction, because you rarely have to use it. The remote battery has only needed charged 3 times in the 6 months we had it, and I'm not even sure it needed charged, it was more of a "I haven't charged this in months, the battery still says it's full, but I'm going to plug it in anyway" sort of deal. The collars light up when you press a button, so you know it's "connecting", and they will blink faster when the battery is getting low. You can charge two collars at a time. Sometimes the collars will be on but the connection isn't working and the good ol' "have you tried turning it off and back on?" troubleshoot always works. There is plenty of length to the collar for all sizes of dogs. We have 2 boys and a girl all from the same litter but they all have a different neck size and these adjusted easily to meet everyone's needs. The collars don't "slip" and loosen even during the most "vicious" of sibling battles. They are water proof, we take them to the park and the pups run rampant through the streams and swim in all the pools with out an issue. It's also easy to replace parts if you try to be a nice puprent (puppy parent) and take off the collars and someone decides to chew the closures. Pull a stitch here and there and replace the connectors easy peasy. The reflective strips are nice at night along with the steady blink of light. Honestly, we barley even use them now. We put them on for park trips because of all the temptation for misbehaving but otherwise, they run around with just a plain collar and I'll occasionally say "beeeeeep" to remind them of what could be. It works....i'm pretty sure lol.

I've only been using the product for a weekend, but I'm so impressed! I needed a controller that would work for three dogs, so that drove a lot of my decision making for this product. I also wanted one that had vibrate and shock modes for correction. So far, the reactive barking that my dogs exhibit has decreased dramatically. The vibration mode is enough for one dog, while the other barker needs the shock mode to get her attention. With these collars, I can address both needs. The dogs are startled but are not hurt by the collar. They are calmer when they see walking people and dogs, already, but they are still happy and playful while in the yard. I held off and tried every other training method I could before getting training collars because I was afraid that the dogs' spirits would be broken by the collars. That has not been the case at all. I expect that with consistency on my part they will be trained to the point that they won't need the correction at all within about a week. I also plan to use the collars while walking the dogs to lessen pulling and reactivity while on the leash. I will update if that venture is also successful. I've been trying to stop my Catahoula from pulling on the leash for over eight years, so if this works, it will be a miracle.

I had the old version of these and accidentally left the remote outside. So I got the new version and there are some pros and cons to the newer ones. First of all, I like the collar on this set better. I can adjust this one and don’t have to cut off excess. The con is that this newer set does not make a brooding noise to let you know it is going dead. The old set would beep repeatedly to let you know it was going dead. Now it just shuts off and you don’t know it’s dead until you’re trying to correct an action and nothing is happening. This new set also seems to go dead faster than the older set.

The first thing I noticed were the rubber prong covers. They instantly fall right off and we lost all of them within 24 hours. The second thing is the power behind the shock. This thing goes from 1 to 99 and anything over 30 is absolutely cruel and hurt like hell. This collar could be used for training but it could also be used to torture a poor animal. With the poorly and inadequately translated instructions, I didnt know that I could change the shock setting. It comes preset at a max 99. I had to at least test it on my own hamd before subjecting my pets to it. And Im glad I did. Within 2 weeks of owning these, the snap has broke on one collar and is completely useless now and I have to find a new one that will fit thru the unit. The last downside of this thing is just how easy it is to accidentally hit the buttons. I had to learn to keep the remote on a channel not being used because its just far too easy to accidentally have a button pushed and next thing you know your dog is yelping and didn’t need correcting. The light on this thing is extremely helpful and works great though.

I got these quite awhile back, wrote a good review, then they recently quit working. Took me quite awhile to come up w/ my order #, but after calling Amazon, they’re search went back far enough to being it up for me. So I contacted F-Color thru their website, which Amazon also provided me. It took about 2 wks to get their response, & just as I thot I’d never hear back from them, they responded back! They not only responded back, but replaced my 3 collars & remote right away! I’m so happy I can’t say enough about it! I loved this set of collars! Had others & top of the line too, but these were the best, simplest to use w/ multiple dogs on 1 remote w/o making a mistake, & they had bit smaller box on the collar part w/ smooth rounded edges & corners as well as rubber prong covers to make them the most comfortable ones for my dogs to have to wear too. I never use the shock, turn it to zero to avoid even an accident! It isn’t needed & I wish I could get it w/o prongs even, but I fip the collars upside down w/prongs away from the dog when I put the collars on, so no prong irritation! I have to keep one on my deaf dog 24/7 so I can signal to her w/ just a vibration if she has her back to me or head down or asleep since she can’t hear me call to her & has to be looking @ me to see hand signals (which she knows & I use too). My other dogs respond to the beep pretty well & rarely need vibration, but when they do, it’s enough. These collars are about the best you can get in my opinion after using lots of different ones over decades. And now I can honestly & whole heartwdly vouch for F-Color too! They stand behind these collars & provide outstanding customer service even over time! You don’t get that just anywhere! And since these collars are so essential to me, esp. w/my deaf dog, that’ is HUGE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE COLLARS (w/o using the shock or allowing prong/skin irritation) & F-COLOR IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BUY YOUR COLLARS FROM!!!

The vibrate and noise option was effective for my dogs. The shock option wasn’t necessary…maybe for bull headed dogs that ignore the vibration and noise. Your choice. This has trained the dogs not to run into the street, run up to walking neighbors (scaring the crap out of people), and has even stopped one of the dogs from pooping/ peeing in the crate and house. My girl now poops and pees outside like she is supposed to. Even if we are gone for work for a few hours, she will wait until we get home to go just like the other dog now. We’ve tried everything under the sun to stop her from pooping in the house and this was the only thing that worked. This collar is more effective than words when correcting behavior but you have to catch them while they are doing it. My dogs have gone from unruly to well behaved. I no longer need to use the collars. We can finally enjoy our little friends. The dogs are seemingly much happier now too. Stress levels are now at zero. Great buy!

I have a slopehill training collar very similar love it had it for years got another dog so wanted an additional collar ordered this system being very similar honestly thought it was the same system till i got it in the mail and was very disappointed! Has no lock on it so if you drop the handheld or have it in your pocket or set something on it by mistake you could possible shock your dog! The collars never stay charged the “sleep mode” turns on and off on its own draining the battery have yet to see if water resistant not sure the system will even last till summer very disappointed not worth your money or time going back to old system highly recommend slopehill looks almost exactly the same but has a lock on the side of handheld to prevent accidental shock also is 100% water proof my girl swam with it all summer major water dog! For the price “being much cheaper 1 collar and handheld 25$“ only purchased this as an alternative as couldn't find an add a collar but does have the option for up to 3 dogs”! I figured no way it’s going to last as other brands never held up despite being labeled as water proof battery life last for months despite using it daily for hikes and outdoor activities! Not going to lie total blond moment had the system forever and totally forgot to charge the handheld till just now and never had a issue with it! 100% recommend slopehill and not this trash mock-up of it!

I have three very large rescue dogs. Two are pictured here. I do not use the shock on my dogs. I use the sound to get my dogs attention. If they will not return when being called. I press the the vibrate button . This has been a great training tool. Especially when I need them to stop. For instance, when they are roughhousing too much or another example is when they are running towards somebody full speed to jump on them. Once the sound is heard , they stop. They have learned that vibrate comes next. Vibrate does not hurt them in any way. It just feels weird and tickles. I have held it in my hand and vibrated it just to make sure it was not going to hurt my animals. if you are having a difficult time getting your pet to pay attention or listen this is definitely a great teaching tool.
