Just what I was looking for, we always go to the beach and rent an umbrella with chairs. Getting a bit pricey so I was looking for a small canapy that would work for 2 to 4 people. This works great, only about 6 feet tall which is higher than the rental umbrellas. Very sturdy against the beach breeze. Not to heavy to carry. Highly recommend for beach use or sitting at your child's sporting event. I do not reccomend if you need a canapy for larger crowds or for over a picnic table. Perfect for the beach!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was just looking for a little shade on my deck while I'm outside enjoying some fresh air. It's not the most sturdiest canopy but it's for basic needs to block out the shade. Two people putting it together is helpful. I actually watched a YouTube video, got it done within 10 minutes. As far as dimensions goes, I highly doubt is 6x6 because if it's directly on my deck which is not 6 feet wide. I posted a video you could get a better idea. ... show more

It is easy to set up, which I can do by myself. Also, I am able to fold the canopy and get it back into the bag. I don't think the base is actually 7x7. And, you do have to duck under to get inside. But, it is perfect for my camping needs.

The cardboard box that the EzyFast Pop Up beach shelter comes in has the phrase "just be easy and fast" written on it. Well it is easy and fast to set up this tent shelter on a sandy beach. Inside the box you'll find the tent frame, canopy, and stakes packed away neatly in a carrying case. It is fairly straightforward to remove the frame, expand it, and latch in the telescopic legs. placing the canvas, and tying it in place on the poles using the Velcro straps is an easy process. The first day on the beach we used the stakes to hold the shelter in place. It was a windy day but the shelter held steadfast. Note that there are pockets on the canopy to hold additional sand for more weight if the wind is really strong. We were able to fit 6 chairs, table-chair combos, and lawn chairs under this 7' x 7' shelter. There is a back section that can be lowered so that only 3 sides are open. The shelter was easy and quick to pack up into its carrying bag and was easy to set up on subsequent visits to the beach. The beach tent appears to be quite sturdy. My only minor gripe, which is not a fault of the product, is that I wish it had three fold-down sides instead of one. Then again I chose the product and got exactly what was described. And the price wasn't bad either. I will be using this beach tent for my next beach vacation trip. the days of cumbersome, unstable, flipping and flopping beach umbrellas are over. ... show more

    • Easy to set up sturdy shelter!

I received this product in time for my July 4th vacation on the beach. I found that it was easier to set up with another person, instead of doing it alone. Although the instructions did not clearly state how to raise the 4 corners up, it was not hard to figure out. This worked well for my family because we are not taller than 5'7". If you are taller than this, you will have to duck under the edges and may only be able to stand in the middle. It provided coverage for 4 chairs comfortably. We did not use the side flap because we enjoyed the slight wind. There are pockets in the corner flaps that you can fill with sand so it weighs the shelter down nicely. There are also 4 spikes you can use if needed (although they appeared to be very skinny). I recommend this light-weight portable shelter that is easy to put up and bring down and put away! This a fantastic pop-up shade shelter for beach, lawn or large deck. My 6'2" husband has to duck to walk under it but it's perfect for anyone under 6 feet and once sitting it's great for everybody. He loves it despite ducking and two of our guests immediately went on Amazon to order one for themselves. Bought this tent for an event. It is great if you are looking for something for shade, and are short. I am 5'2" and I could stand in this tent with no problems. I would recommend it for a sporting event where you are sitting down most of the time, not for anything where you are vendoring something. People had to duck in the tent to view and for tall people this was an issue. Easy set up and fits back in the bag when finished. So five stars for easy, 3 for it being small. ... show more
