The set up was fast and easy for one person to do- so is disassembly and clean up is as easy as taking the dirty section outside or place in bathtub and hose off! No need to take the whole thing apart (unless you want to!). Easy to disinfect since there are no hidden corners or crevices. Easy to store since it comes apart in small sections. Heavy duty / built to last BUT very light weight! Love the heavy duty pig rail and the fact that it is easily removable, easy to clean, easy to take apart to store. The added "fitted" protective sheet is awesome! I wasn't expecting that! And the padded liquid resistant whelping pad is awesome and easy to launder. I do have a couple of suggestions for the company though. Please consider the following: 1- end caps top and bottom for the connectors rubberized or plastic as long as they are sturdy and easy to get on/off for people but not pets! 2- accessories such as heat lamp poles that fit into the connectors; height extenders made of panels of welded wire that fit into the connectors for keeping momma and later- babies in the whelping box so that we don't have to monkey with pens surrounding the box. Over all- well worth the money!!!!

After purchasing a cheaper brand x whelping box that didn't last very long, I decided to purchase a whelping box from EZwhelp. The whelping box exceeded my expectations regarding how well it is designed and made. And, additionally how easy it was to assemble. I do like the placement of the entrance and how easy it is to adjust how low or high the entrance needs to be. The pad that comes with the whelping box is a great fit for the bottom and stays in place. Our Australian Shepherd "Minnie" and her pups sure like their new EZwhelp whelping box. And a shout out to Jamie Fitz for helping to resolve a small issue that arose due to shipping.

I bought the 48x48 classic EZ Whelp and it nicely fits my 164 lb English Mastiff and here 3 newborn puppies. The bumpers are high enough for them to get under (each puppy was born at approx 1.5 to 1.8 lbs) Then bumpers have already saved them more than once. The box is HEAVY upon arrival so have someone that can lift it. It comes nicely packaged and no parts were damaged. It was very easy to put together. I've been wiping it down daily with bleach wipes and it is easy to clean although you do have to get into the honeycomb grooves. Those groves are what make it strong! The photo does show one of the extra 2 pads I bought. The one that comes with it is slightly a lighter gray and a slightly different material. I would suggest getting a couple replacement pads so you always have one handy while washing another. I don't think this will hold all the puppies the entire 8 weeks but for the first month it will be a life saver and has already saved us in puppies not getting squished. Easy to take apart and store between litters.

So I’ve had this for a year. I absolutely love the design. It is extremely adorable easy to put together and take apart no screws necessary. It may be a little more pricey than some of the other ones are the quality as well worth it and you can connect them together I love the waterproof bottom that comes with save your floors. A lot of problems. If you get the right size pads, you shouldn’t have any problems about debris getting under the side walls. I also bought a heated pad and put it all the way under the bottom so it could not get wet. I thought that these used to come with holders for a camera or attachments, but I can’t find them, but was absolutely the best box I have gotten. I have Brad high-quality golden retrievers for over 40 years. This is my number one pic for welding.

I purchased this whelping box about a month before the puppies were born. My two Golden doodles has 11 beautiful puppies. my female Maggie had never got in this whelping pen. when the babies started to come we brought the first one in the house (she had outside in flower bed.) she stayed in the whelping pen until 12 hours later all 11 were born. She then fed the pups in the whelping pen from then on. that immediately became their official home! at 2 months it is still their official home at night. they have another larger pen for the daytime out side. they go to new homes starting tomorrow. this has been a fantastic super ez to put togeather product! well built and well done. 10 stars! ps buy extra pads for the pen as you will need to change out daily as pups use bathroom. they are washable. pic is Mag and pups 1 day old whelping pen

We have a German Shepherd rescue and needed a second whelping box rather quickly and unexpectedly for a pregnant husky. No knowing what to expect, i was extraordinary delighted at the quality of the materials and also the ease of installation. The 4 x 4 is perfect for a medium dog. I do think it would be small for s larger dog such as a gsd once the pups reach 3 weeks. The pig rails are super easy to take in and out. The only negative … the black pads are NOT made for the 4x4 box. Only the Grey pads are. The black do work if under the pig rails but they are too small to use without. I would like a way to hang a water bucket from the corner, but otherwise I love this set up. I ordered the add on room directly from the manufacturer as well as the grey pads.

I’m very happy with this purchase it is Well built! I love the rails! I love the way the pieces fit and come apart easily for cleanings. I also purchased the EZ Welp heating lamp and rod for the Classic Welping box. I was very impressed with the setup for the rod placement to make creating heat for the pups easy and safe. The Box looks classy as well! My Pup deserves the best for her newborn pups and this is a perfect pick if you feel the same :) Ive Also ordered the Camera with temperature sensors from the EZ Welp site.Everything I’ve ordered came in a fad manner as well packaged nicely! I’m definitely an EZ Welp Fan .. 5 Stars!
