I recently installed this motion sensor wall light with a remote control in my dark basement stairway and it has truly made a difference. It was easy to install. Since it didn’t require complex wiring and it had adhesives on the back of the mounting plate, I was able to set it up within 5 minutes. This made it especially convenient for areas like hallways and basement stairways where adding traditional lighting would have been more complicated. The motion sensor works surprisingly well. It detects movement quickly and turns on the light almost instantly, which is perfect for my dark stairway. This makes it safer to descend into the basement whether at night or during the day, because either way its always dark. I used to be afraid my elderly Aunt or myself would trip if going in the basement because the stairs weren't well lit and the only light source is in the basement. I also appreciate that it automatically turns off after a set period, helping save energy without me having to think about it. The remote control is a nice addition. It allows me to adjust brightness, switch modes, and even turn the light on or off manually without needing to trigger the sensor. This flexibility makes it more than just a motion light—it can function like a regular wall light when needed. In terms of brightness, the light is strong enough to illuminate small to medium spaces effectively. It’s not harsh on the eyes, and the adjustable settings make it easy to customize depending on the time of day or purpose. There are a couple of minor downsides. Occasionally, the motion sensor can be a bit too sensitive or not sensitive enough depending on placement, so it may take some trial and error to get it right. I placed mine close to the basement door entrance so as soon you open the door it powers on. And the next sensor is a bit of a distance from the other one, so it doesn't interfere with functionality. Since this is rechargeable, always a plus, I find that it lasts me over 1 week with daily use on 1 charge. Overall, I find this motion sensor wall light with remote to be a convenient, energy-efficient, and versatile lighting solution. The media could not be loaded. I came across these while looking for lighting that didn’t require any hardwiring. Recently I’ve been upgrading my home to more motion sensor lighting and thought these would be great as an addition to that. I was very impressed by the contents and presentation of these lights. They come in a well-packed, neat package with everything you need to go from the start. The lights themselves feel(and are) premium. All applicable hardware is there with multiple ways to mount, the remote has a simple layout with a battery pre-installed, and instructions were provided which I felt were adequate but could use a bit of clarity. As far as functionality goes, they worked great as soon as I took them out of the box. What I really like is how when they are motion activated they slowly fade on and off which creates a really cool effect. The brightness has a good range of adjustment and for what they are they actually get pretty bright while preserving battery life. Mounting is very straightforward with the magnet being built in to the light housing itself. They can either attach to their mounting plates or any magnetic metal surface which makes them very versatile. This makes it also way easier to charge them when needed because while they have strong magnets, they’re also fairly easy to grip and pop off. The final resting place for mine ended up in a coat closet so I don’t have to turn on all my lights just to grab something out of there and I was very happy with the result. Despite the manufacturers intended purpose, these are very versatile lights that can be used for multiple locations (Other than outdoor exposure to the element, they are not made for that) All of this being said, there are some things to be aware of if you’re considering these lights. The most noticeable thing to me which wasn’t my favorite is the light spread. The best way I can describe it is they look like car projector headlamps and have a very sharply aimed appearance, more like a flashlight than the warm glow of a standard home lamp. Another thing that prevented me from installing them in a main living area is the logo stamped on the front of the housing which isn’t removable. Nothing against the company but I just want a clean look and don’t want to see logos in my living area. I can’t give an exact assessment of battery life; however, I can say with a 4000mAh battery in each while being used in a low traffic area they should last at least a month. Be mindful if you’re installing these in a place with high traffic because you will need to charge them fairly regularly. When testing mine, even though it said in the instructions they would only motion activate if it was dark, with the room fully lit they motion activate anyway. That part was a bit confusing and will cause increased battery drain with high traffic. Besides those caveats, I feel these earned their 5 stars and I do recommend them for the right person with the right expectations and needs from them.
