My first review, they are installed and it’s been 1 week. I am going to try and come back and review a couple more times. I installed three of these under cabinets and one on the doorframe of a dark closet 8 days ago. I had to charge the batteries of the three under cabinets after 7 days. I am good with this timeframe as my kitchen does not get a lot of light in the daytime but sees a lot of movement from pets and humans so they were constantly turning on and off 24/7. I didn’t mind this as it prevented me from having to turn the actual lights on during the day. I bought two packs of two and each came with an extra battery so I only ended up having one go fully dark while I charged up its battery as I had the two extra batteries ready to go and did a quick switch on the other two lights. The closet one is still going strong. Previously I had the round lights and I used rechargeable batteries but they did not even last 7 days and I rarely ever turned them on.

We do like the quality of the light and color and adjustability but battery life is not what we hoped. We are using this as a temporary option for a failed stove top hood light. It does stay attached under the hood at about the same location as the original light and the magnets work well and motion detection works well but the on/off switch is small and would not be easy to turn on/off like the hood switch. But, this light is not intended for this purpose so I give it credit to work as a back up light. However, the battery like other lights along these lines does not last as long as we would like and we have to recharge about about 3 to 5 days. It does stay on for a little while when cooking but not when the outdoor light comes in the house. So, can be good in other applications but as a back up for stove top lighting, maybe not.

These are the best slim lights to place in dark cabinets or wherever you need light. They activate when you open the cabinet door. I put them in my pantry and underneath my cooktop cabinet which is always dark. They are bright enough so you can see everything inside (spices, cans, jars). They are slim so that you can mount them on the side molding inside the cabinet or door. I found they stick much better on a painted molding if you use the Command stick strips (or 2). Holds perfectly. These are great little lights. I will be ordering more for more cabinets, closets so I don't have to always put on the highhat overhead lights in my kitchen.

This is a good solution for a dark staircase in our 1/2 basement. We have no direct overhead or stair lighting. Love that these provide a good safety option and are not even noticeable under the rail - we are using two.

Lights are ok, but not the same as pictures or the last order. More plastic than original order and magnetic attachment is not a long strip, but two small pieces, which makes it less stable.

We purchased 2. We have 1 installed on each hallway ceiling. They last about 2 weeks with medium traffic, on the brightest setting. Are ceilings are about 8.5’. When the hallway is dark, the light turns on automatically when you are about 10’ from the sensor on the light. The light has 3 brightness settings. We use the brightest setting because my wife wants it to be DAYLIGHT in the middle of the night when she walks through the hallway. The hallway would be adequately lit on the low or medium brightness setting, allowing the charge to last much longer… The battery is easy to remove & it charges quickly, depending on your ‘charge block’. I just don’t care to drag the stool out every 2 weeks to get two batteries down to charge and then back up to make the light work…

I have bought several of these light bars and I am completely satisfied. You can install them anywhere. No need to hardwire. Efficient and functional. However, the supplier has made modifications to this light bar in the last few months and their instructions omit one key detail. There is now a switch at the end of the light for off/motion night/always on. My previous purchases did not have a switch on the end. The previous model lit up as soon as the battery component was attached. The new model does not. I thought it was broken & returned it for a replacement. The same issue occurred with the next one I purchased. Frustrating. Alas, I studied the light bar and discovered the new feature not mentioned in the instructions. A switch that operates the light.
