Had it for a several months now. It's a solid lacrosse net. Is kind of a pain to put together. Took two us about 2.5 hours. Definitely need patience to put the netting on. I read the other reviews and thought it would be much harder to assemble. However, it wasn’t that bad… though it took several hours to assemble. I recommend a rubber mallet to help the various pieces fit together. The goal itself is solid and appears durable.

I read other reviews prior to purchase and expected the assembly to be a pain, but honestly it’s not that bad. I would definitely recommend this goal with the back stops. Firstly, I’d like to lobby Amazon for the creation of a product category that would require prior authorization from a second parent before the order is able to be placed. The second parent being the one responsible for assembly. Quality: 10 out of 10. The powder coating and quality of finish were mint. In addition, despite being “made in China”, it’s clear the product is not some knock off straight from the Big ROC Candy Mountain. The clearest evidence of that is the instructions, which are notably missing the typical mutant Times New Roman font, and instead look like a print out from a dot matrix printer that has been run through a Xerox machine 70 or 500 times. You young bucks will have no idea what that means. Assembly: unless you are a New England coastal fisherman from the 1870s who makes a living mending fishing nets, prepare yourself for 5 hours plus in the hurt locker trying the weave this thing together. Stock the cooler with ice and cold snacks and embrace the pain. Summary: this is a quality product. Once assembled, and that’s the key caveat, it could be a family heirloom that you should be able to pass down to your grandchildren (if that’s still socially acceptable nomenclature by that point). ... show more

The product was ridiculously difficult to assemble. The instructions are very poor and the threading of the net is an awful design. I used over 100 zip ties to supplement the rope that comes with the net that you’re supposed to somehow thread. BTW - they don’t send enough rope and it’s a challenge to figure out where to use the different sizes. All in all, plan about 3+ hours to assemble. Suggestion to the manufacturer/supplier - provide a step by step instructional VIDEO for your customers to view if you don’t plan to change the net threading design. Now that it’s together, my 15 year old and 12 year old boys love it. They have their friends over to practice on it all the time. I purchased the Franklin target to go with it and it’s perfect. We shall see how it holds up over the long term. After a week, so far, so good… ... show more

This took us 5 hours to put together, the instructions were awful!! We did not have enough of the black string to do the assembly. But the only reason we aren’t returning is it is sturdy once put together, buy at your own risk!
