On the bench today I have the ENEKERP EZGO Battery Cables, Golf Cart Battery Cables Wiring Kit for EZGO TXT 1994-UP 36V and 48V, 4 Gauge 7 PCS Pure Copper AC/DC EZGO Wire Kits. The cables are not bad cables. As I said in the title, if you would have to buy the crimping tools, wire and some quality lugs to be able to make your own then this is not an outrageously priced alternative. I know most people will not really need to make their own battery cables to warrant owning quality tools and supplies to be able to do so properly. They are fairly flexible with a somewhat soft jacket with real tinned copper lugs. I made sure to scrape off the tinning to see copper underneath on one of the lugs. As listed in their product page and shown in my pictures, you do get 7 cables in 3 different lengths. I did not get the cables for the golf cart as it is advertised for but I am using them in building a solar battery box. The short cables will be good for connecting some batteries in parallel. That is why you see some terminal covers on a few of them in my pictures. I did some resistance testing and all of my samples had appropriate measurements so it doesn’t appear that I had any with poor crimp jobs or inferior quality wire. I will likely cut the end off a couple of the wires to put a different size lug on them and I’ll make sure I come back and update the review if I find anything unexpected, like CCA or undersized wire underneath an oversized jacket or anything of that sort. I just have to decide which wires I’ll be using with a 1/4” hole before I go cutting any of them up. As for why I knocked off a star, as you notice in the one picture with 3 of the cables, they didn’t really put any effort into the angles they attached those lugs so there is a fair amount of rotation needed in the wire to have the lugs flat with one another. Ideally, they would have made sure that all of the lugs were turned the same way before finalizing the crimping. Also, I would have liked to see a jacket temperature rating in the sparse labeling on the wiring. All in all, the cables are decent enough if you need these lengths of premade cable and don’t already have the tools, ability or supplies to be able to make your own. ... show more
