We picked up this EYN queen size mattress for our RV. We live in it a lot since we travel frequently for my boyfriend’s work, so having a comfortable mattress is not optional for us, it’s a necessity. The mattress we had before was an older traditional spring mattress, and we were waking up sore and uncomfortable almost every morning. When we came across this mattress by EYN, it looked like exactly what we needed to upgrade our sleep without overcomplicating things, and it’s been a huge improvement. As soon as you feel the mattress. you can tell it is a great quality mattress. Not only that but the craftsmanship is perfect. The materials feel soft like wha toys want in a mattress, but also durable like it will hold up even with sleeping on it regularly. One of the first things we really liked is the 10 inch height. For our fifth wheel, this has been the perfect thickness. It still provides great support and comfort, but it leaves enough headroom that when we sit up in bed, we don’t have to worry about hitting our heads on the ceiling. That was a big concern when mattress shopping for an RV, and this one fits the space perfectly without feeling too thin. Surprisingly we both think this mattress is very comfortable, even though we sleep very differently. I’m a side sleeper and he’s a stomach sleeper, so finding a mattress that works for both of us can be tricky. We really appreciate that this is a true medium firm mattress because it feels like the best of both worlds. For me, it felt pretty firm at first, but it softened up a little over time and now has just the right amount of cushion for my shoulders and hips. For him, it provides the support he needs without feeling like he’s sinking in. Both of us sleep comfortably, feel supported, and still have enough cushioning to stay comfortable through the night. The memory foam does a nice job with pressure relief without feeling mushy, and it doesn’t sag or dip. We noticed a difference almost immediately after switching, we’re no longer waking up with back or hip pain, which has made a huge difference in our day to day life on the road. It also doesn’t sleep overly hot, which is important when you’re traveling through different climates in an RV. Setup was exactly what you’d expect from a mattress in a box, with one small thing worth noting. It aired up to its shape right away after unboxing, but we did let it sit out for about two days to really fully expand and fill out to its final shape before sleeping on it. After that, it felt more balanced and comfortable, and everything looked and felt as it should. Getting it into the RV and onto the bed was straightforward and hassle free. In my opinion the $249.99 price (at the time of purchase) is a great value and worth every penny. It offers real comfort and support without taking up too much space, and it’s been a major upgrade from our old spring mattress that was causing constant discomfort. Overall, this is a great quality, well made, comfortable, durable, and supportive mattress. We’re really happy with this mattress and honestly wish we had replaced our old one sooner. It’s made a noticeable difference in how well we sleep. If you’re looking for a true medium firm mattress that works well for different sleep styles, this one is definitely worth considering. I highly recommend it.
