Eye Envy products are Excellent at eliminating and controlling tear stains without the use of antibiotics or harsh chemicals in products that are not safe for dogs. I have used their products for many years and have been asked by others admiring my dog's stain free eyes what I used. Depending on how stained your dogs eyes are, you may have to use it twice daily and diligently for a period of time to completely get rid of all the stains. Then it is best to stay on a twice a week (one application each time) maintenance routine. The pads are fantastic. I use them for myself (face) as well. The texture on them helps loosen and break apart the clumps. They are thin, gentle and absorbs only the amount of product you'll use without wasting like cotton balls or pads that soaks up a lot of product that doesn't get used. To apply the powder, I use a small two-sided cotton swab (one side for each eye) and carefully apply so no powder gets in the eye. The entire process is easy and fast. Just be diligent about doing it faithfully and read Eye Envy's directions carefully and follow them. Based on my experience, it's easier to stay on a maintenance program afterwards to avoid having to get rid of the stains again which can take time if your stains are very bad.

Ivy is our Bichon/Maltese 16 year old girl. In November of 2004 we started treating her for various eye problems. They thought she had corneal abrasions but she didn't. Dry eye test was negative but she had such watery eyes that her face was always wet and stained. She seemed to have chronic conjunctivitis. The Vet ordered different eye ointments and drops and nothing seemed to help. I heard about Eye Envy and since it was not something I had to put IN her eyes and not something she needed to take internally, I decided to try Eye Envy. Within one month the difference was UNBELIEVABLE! I used the Eye Envy and EE powder at first, and eventually was able to get to an every-other-day of just applying Eye Envy to the area under her eyes......where the tear stains used to be but are totally gone. The Vet was even surprised that her chronic conjunctivitis totally disappeared. No more eye drops, ointments or nasty eyes. We have used EE for over 4 years now and have NEVER been disappointed.

It did a good job, it was unable to undo the fact my dog had plugged tear ducts and his face was quite stained prior to starting the product and I did not always use it daily......but I must say it did a great improvement of the staining. It was much improved! Get the powder to use with this to get the best results.

I have a 6 year old white/apricot cockapoo who has always struggled with severe tearing/staining, more than the average, due to operations to correct "cherry eye" on each eye. The operations are in close proximity to tear ducts and the tearing/staining has been much more problematic since. I have tried countless products on the market and removed chicken and other possible irritants from his diet with little results. Never could invest in any product that was delivered by water since I have a 70 lb boxer with no tearing/staining issues and who is a water addict, quite costly too. I have been using this product for 1 week daily in combination with the eye powder, and I can already begin to see a significant improvement. Countless times with other eye cleaners, you would only be removing the eye "boogies" and not the stain itself. The first day I used it, the red staining actually could be seen on the cotton pad! I knew at that moment this solution actually does something. I'm excited to see how continued use over the next couple of weeks goes. My dog doesn't seem to mind the product and hasn't given him any troubles or irritations in this delicate area. This isn't a one time miracle product, but something definitely worth investing money and the discipline to use daily. Easy to use, results, and worth the money.

This solution works great in conjunction with the eye envy powder. I breed and show Himalayan cats and their eyes tear. Eye Envy keeps those faces free of staining when used everyday. Eye Envy EE-8OZS-NR-D EE Solution-8 ounce NR-Dog Eye Envy EE-16OZS-NR-C EE Solution-16 ounce NR-Cat Eye Envy Solution 8 Oz No Refrigeration Needed and there are more to find here at Amazon so you can price check. Do a search for "eye envy solution" in the home & garden section. To help stretch the solution to last longer, I first wipe eye area with Sterile Saline Water on a round cotton pad. (found in drug stores for a couple bucks in the eye contacts care area) I let that dry a bit. Then I use the Eye Envy solution. Also be sure to get the "NR" eye envy solution (no refrigeration needed) No need to buy eye envy wipes: Eye Envy Replenishment Bag of Eye Envy Pads for Dogs or Cats However be sure to use a non-woven pad instead of cotton make up round pads . The round cotton pads sucks up all the solution and you only get a couple uses out of a bottle!! Fantasea 2X2 Non-Woven Wipes / 200/Pack (FSC504) 2x2 Medical Grade Non-Woven Esthetic Nail Wipes Cleansing 200pc Intrinsics 2"x 2" Non-Woven Wipes 200-ct. There are also non-woven pads available online. They are easy to find in beauty supply websites. Nail Techs use them to remove nail polish.
