$1200 might seem like a lot for a "good value" rating, but I think I got a good deal on this hardware. Well done, in general. I like having a place to position the PC, and the design led itself to the use of Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheels, and Fanatec brakes. (You do have to order a $30 option for a plate to allow the Fanatec DD drives to be mounted, however.) I thought the welds were of high quality, and assembly not too complicated. Best of all, I discovered (purely by chance) that the side railings are at a separation that allows mounting the NLR V3 seat mover. (To be accurate, there is a 1/4" miss-match, but you can make it work.) The seat is a different matter. Not very good. You could use the NLR seat when/if you install their seat mover, or do what I did - use an Open Wheeler seat. NOTE: use of the open wheeler seat will require fabrication of mounts...as the holes are off by about 0.4". After several attempts, I ended up cutting wedges from 2x3 lumber and painting them black. Worked like a charm. (I used wedges to get the seat angle I wanted. About 17" long and 2" high at the rear, and 3" high at the front) Must say that it's not that easy to install, given the mounting design of the OW seats. But if you're mechanically inclined with a good tool set, you can do it. At any rate, the basic cockpit is well done, and lends itself to many mods should that be your desire. ... show more

Had the wheel stand and upgraded to the p1 3.0. Wow the quality of the product is amazing. The packaging and shipping of this item was awesome as well. Now to install the correct monitor and im set. Do not hesitate to purchase you will not be disappointed!

    • Solid Set-UP
First of all this is a very solid set-up, I am not a small person (5'11" 230) and this cockpit is very well made. Went together very easy and I think it was very well thought out. So then you are asking why did you just give it "4 Stars" really only for 1 reason, "Wire Management" although they do supply you with some zip-ties which is nice it would have been pretty easy to make wire runners along or through-out the frame. I hate wires hanging from places so this is a personal thing for me but I think we all like to have our rigs looking rather clean.... Other then that the seat could be a little more comfortable because if I spend say 4 hours in it my back does hurt when I get out maybe even just adding a lower back pillow to the seat or maybe a pillow that you can adjust with velcro. Just my thoughts but I like the rig over-all. See ya on the Track! ... show more
