Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
I'm I've had this for a year and a half, I've probably put about 1,500 hours of time on it. It's held up very well, it's built unbelievably well. Comfort is a 7/10 but I'm not one who really needs comfy seat. This thing gives me immersion in VR that can't be beat, and I can play for hours no problem. I saw reviews saying it's hard to get in and out of. I'm disabled, with reconstructive surgery and some mobility issues. I'm also 6'2 and I have no issues getting In and out. Overall I'm very pleased and recommend it if you want a nice, affordable cockpit for your flight sims. ... show more

  • Very nice setup
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
This is a very pricey unit. However it is worth the cost, I’m in fab, this produce is really well made. Every material is over done to the high side. And the QA is top notch. Everything fit with no issues. All tools were supplied including a 13mm wrench.

  • Easier/cheaper than going full blown cockpit.
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
Assembly was pretty straight forward. Not the highest end in terms of quality, buy had no issue mounting all the equipment. Only real gripe is getting in and out. The seat needs to slide back further or the stick assembly needs to hinge like the yoke assembly.

  • Pretty Solid
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
I got this setup yesterday, and its pretty awesome! I uploaded some pictures so others could get an idea of the layout/size. Im about 5'10. Im currently using this for elite dangerous and im extremely satisfied. I also hooked up a buttkicker to the chair with the mount it comes with, which increases the immersion 10 fold. I will say, the seatbelts definitely keep me from slamming my face into the wall while trying to look around, which is pretty nice. The foot pedal base is completely adjustable so you can get comfy, the seat slides back and forth so you can get into the right spot. It comes with a bunch of extras so you can do your Yoke setup, or your center stick setup. I think that this is excellent for VR gaming. Currently i rate it 5 stars, i will update this review in about 6 months to share any issues i may have. ... show more

  • Great simpt and customer service
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
Military Version. Takes a little time to put together but they send you all the tools and hardware. Theres a YT video that shows how to put it together. The included instructions aren’t bad either. The seat is stiff but still lets you sink into it. Saitek/logitech pedals are a little too wide for it but a little velcro fixes that. TM warthog fits perfect. Had a part that didnt fit to hold the pedal plate. Sent NLR an email with a picture of the problem. They sent a replacement part right out to me. Its strong and doesnt creak or make noise. The cushion covers come off for cleaning. Great simpit! ... show more

  • Overall not great
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
Mixed emotions about this product. As others have reviewed, the construction quality of the metal frame is very good. Assembly instructions also very good, and actual tools to assemble shipped with the unit. For me that about where the good ends. Issues: seat is low to the ground, enough that standing up from it is awkward at best since there is no good place to put your feet when standing up, especially if using the center stick mount. I have removed the center stick mount so that I have somewhere for my legs to be, now if I move the seat all the way back I can put my feet on the floor to stand up, currently have 2x4’s under the base to add a couple inches of height to the unit, which makes it easier to stand up. On my unit the rails the seat are mounted to had very sharp corners from the manufacturing process, had to sand the corners down to keep from getting cut. These same sharp edges are tearing the seat cushion apart. The seat, it might as well be a board, extremely uncomfortable for long gaming sessions, the back of the seat is not well formed, and the provided lumbar support cushion is twice as thick as it should be, to the point of pushing me forward on the seat. So construction quality, fair to good, design quality, leaves a lot to be desired. I have a bucket seat from a vehicle I will be swapping in, and I’ll build a few different mounting arms that will make the unit more usable. As others have mentioned will also be adding wheels for ease of cleaning. Overall disappointed for the money spent, though possibly for a shorter person (I am 5’10”) this unit would be okay. ... show more

  • NLR Boeing Combat Flight Simulator Pit
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
Love the look and the feel except that it isn’t made for people 6 feet tall. The instructions are simple to follow and there’s plenty of hardware included. While the chair seat is lower to the floor and a bit cumbersome to get in and out of, once seated it’s very comfortable and I like being able to move the chair forward and bank. The mouse pad assembly could have about 2-3 inches more in height though. I’ll fabricate a bracket attachment to accommodate that. All in all it’s a nice setup and adds a cool sense or immersion. It is also very well packaged. I also purchased the roller casters as it’s heavy and it makes moving it around easier. ... show more

  • Great Starting Point For Your Sim
Edition: Flight Simulator Cockpit: Boeing Milit...
Really happy with this cockpit. The build quality is excellent—it’s sturdy and well-made, and once it's fully put together, it weighs around 100 lbs. It’s very customizable too, which is perfect if you’re planning to build out your own sim setup. Assembly took a bit of time, but nothing too crazy. Highly recommend if you're into simming. ... show more
