We bought the ultimate extreme dog fence system and 2 of the collars in December 2021. We love how quick the set up is and how quickly our dogs learned the boundaries at our new home. It seemed somewhat pricey up front, but then I realized that one veterinary bill (or worse, the loss of a pet) is much more costly. It definitely gave my husband and I peace of mind. Unfortunately, it has been 5 months after purchasing the system and one of the posts on the collar has snapped off and they are not cheap. Hopefully, we can contact the company and find a reasonably priced replacement. Still would fully recommend this system to anyone we talk to.

2 German shepherds on 4 acres. Spent all weekend installing for the dogs to care less about the boundary. If they stop right at it, they might whine a bit and get away from it (I've maxed out already). But walking somewhere with purpose, it doesn't even slow them down. I've even cut down the fur on their neck where it contacts and put the lube they recommend. Not happy I wasted 750 dollars and a hot weekend of time. Can't trust it at this point, waste of time and money

I ordered two collars. At less than a year later, I have three replacements. The first one had the plastic part completely crumble where the connectors screw in. The second one had the battery screw strip out so bad the only way to get off was to drill it. The third one had a connector probe break off in it. The only redeeming quality for this company is they have a decent customer service that was reasonable to work with. I appreciate their professionalism, but the system doesn't work if the collars aren't affective. These systems can be life or death for your dog(s). At this point, I check the collars daily. be aware. Installation is not overly complex but burying the line greatly depends on your terrain. I have a lot of trees and digging through roots is not easy.

The 14ga wire is perfect for mixed terrain and Midwestern changing seasons. Easy to install, high quality, and strong shocking options. More than enough to instill a healthy fear into my two 60# pits. One of the collar’s probes broke shortly after I installed the system, and Crystal was super helpful and sent me a new collar with no questions asked! Would definitely recommend and buy again.

I got a quote from another company that installs invisible dog fences in our area and was told almost $4000, sticker shock! So I found this system for $800 with a $200 rental of a trencher and a weekend's worth of labor (5 ackers of woods, I would not chose this solution again just for this reason. It was not a fun task). I then spent a $160 on a second collar for my 2nd dog. Ultimately this was a really good solution for my elderly 50 lb Lab/Chow gentle dog. It's a completely different story for my puppy pitbull, who is now 11 months and 80 lbs. First of all the secondary caller that I ordered was for the stubborn dog and nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that the Max setting for a stubborn dog caller is 5, not 8. So I called the company wondering why she was going over the line without any hesitation and was told I had to put it on a setting 5. I did that and it worked for a little bit and eventually she decided she didn't care about that level of shock either and went over the line - didn't care. So I called the company back again and was told they have a larger collar but they don't like to send it to people with puppies, I said send it! She has been using this other stubborn dog caller for a few weeks now and has now decided that she also doesn't care about the shock from that one and os yet again going over the line whenever she pleases. I called the company back (again!! Uggg) and was very upset about the amount of money, labor, and stress that I have put in to getting this system to work for her, the sales rep suggested putting both collars on her, the old one I have in storage and the newest one. I am willing to try this but I'm sitting here now and the probes in this other collar seem to be stripped out leaving it effectively worthless. Also as far as batteries go I really don't understand why I need to buy their specific $13 battery versus any other generic $6 battery, but whatever I'll do what I'm told. I'm so done and filled with regrets for not using the more expensive system that has more support.
