Definitely an upgrade to the cheap collar material Extreme sells with new correction collar. At $160 for the standard and $180 for stubborn correction collars I purchased, you would think Extreme Dog Fence would use the "heavy duty" nylon for all their collars. This saved me a lot of money as a full replacement of the collar is around $150. I took the electric battery unit off the old collar & it fit perfectly in the new one. The old one was getting worn out and too stained to clean. Bonus is the collars that come with the electric fence are always red. I have 2 dogs so it’s nice to choose another color. Easier to put on each dogs collar when I’m 1/2 asleep in the morning as they each have their own color collar now. Great price. Perfect fit. ... show more
