I have had many tonneau covers before, but this is by far the best. very east installation plus looks very clean. the box was mis-delivered to another city and finally got to me. there were a few damaged plastic parts but the cover itself was fine. customer service for extang was fantastic. after less than 10 minutes on hold, I talked to a very friendly representative who understood exactly what I needed and said I would have the parts in a week. less than a week later, the parts I needed arrived. Don't waste your time or money on this cover, it does not hold up! Mine is peeling already and will be junk in no time. For the money you should get a lifetime out of this product unless you abuse it. Four short years and it is junk. I have bought cheaper covers that last 10 years and more. Complete junk, if I could it would get negative stars. ... show more

Shopped around quite a bit, found the extang exceed here on Amazon. Researched other sites and all good reviews. Looks great, very low profile. Super easy to install and easy to use. And for the price on here it couldn’t be beat... highly recommend this cover

Very easy install,fits perfectly,looks great,easy to operate. One of the plastic clips that hold the prop rod was broken, and the cover had a lot of metal shavings all over it.

    • Very poor craftsmanship
I think that the cover looks awesome and sleek but I was NOT happy with the quality that was provided. They used self tapping screws for everything, they did not have screw wells. Also, there were metal shavings all over my cover from the self tappers. There were parts were I could see exposed metal from poor craftsmanship. I’d spend my money else where if I bought another one. They had to send me the cover 3 times before there was one I would accept. ... show more

Came in covered in metal shavings. One of the pieces of hard foam used as a bumper when you open it had tape stuck to it that I can’t remove without tearing it. The release handle wasn’t pulling evenly on both sides so I had to adjust one of the latches but the screw holes were stripped. So then I had to move the entire latch mechanism which meant drilling new pilot holes and moving the screws. Even after that the release didn’t pull evenly so I had to move that mechanism. I had to move it about 3/16” which meant that the Long plastic cover had to be cut shorter and the short one was now too short. Because of the price I expected perfection not something that I would have to modify immediately just to get it to work correctly. That said, now that it does work it is really nice. ... show more
