I bought my original Hiseeu 4-camera wireless NVR in 2020. I added two cameras in 2022. My system has been making a noise that suggested the HD was going out for a few weeks. Last week, it died. Although I would have liked it to have lasted longer, I figure I spent $3/mo for those five years. I decided to replace it with the same system. I started firing up the new one today and the old cameras (which, obviously, are already where I want them) did not come up. Take note: if you use the same admin password for both the old and new systems, it will *supposedly* find them. Unfortunately, I don't remember what that password was -- so I used a new one. I did not realize the NVR system communicates the passwords to the cameras. The old cameras cannot see the new system because they're using different passwords. I Google'd the problem after emails customer service (who hasn't gotten back to me yet). I discovered that you have to hold the reset button (it's hidden inside the that 2nd cord by the one that accepts the power plug). Hold it for 15 seconds and it'll reset. Go back to the system and search for cameras and ... viola! I'm back in business.

I ordered these cameras after my other model camera stopped working. These cameras are very easy to hook up and get going. I had one problem with one of the cameras having a broken antenna when it arrived. The support team was awesome and got back to me in a timely manner, helping me solve the problem. The quality of the pictures on the working cameras is fantastic. Abby was my support person, and she was fabulous.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this system back in 2020. It's been an operation since then and I can offer a few points to keep in mind but overall this system is very good quality for the features. I had a leftover 12 volt UPS to power the base station so that in the event of a power outage or interruption the base station would always be powered. Originally we had the station set up on the other side of the house which put the cameras the furthest point away and we used repeaters to boost that signal which worked fine but sometimes the frame rate was choppy and there would be dropouts. We since moved the base station closer to the cameras to where there's no need for multiple repeaters and now we just have the one repeater boosting the signal for two of the cameras on the far side of the house. This has yielded a far better performance. I did run into some interference with our house Wi-Fi and the security system. Since they both run in the 2.4 GHZ range I set up static channels (The default selection is dynamic channel adjustment)!so that the house Wi-Fi is on channel 1 and the security system is on channel 11. This has solved the issues of Wi-Fi and video feed interruptions. The power supplies for the cameras while they work fine they do have a limited lifespan. I've had to replace a few of them over the years and recently we just had a lightning storm that took out two of the power supplies. Thankfully they did not damage the cameras themselves. That's been the only maintenance cost in keeping the system going is camera power supplies. The original "IP Pro App" on Android to access the cameras remotely was very problematic. It featured egregious amounts of pop-up ads that were either picture or video that you could not skip until they finish playing. I brought this to the attention of the manufacturer and they told me that the app had been discontinued and I needed to update to the newer "EseeCloud" app, to which I am happy to report that while there are some ads that are in the app, they are far less intrusive and the app seems far more functional. This may have been unique to my experience since I purchased this system back in 2020 and reviewing here in 2025. Overall very happy with the performance. Just keep in mind that camera power supplies and even the base station power supplies will occasionally need to be replaced since they are running 24/7/365.

My only complaint is with the motion recordings, it begins recording too early and you only catch the very beginning of the person/animal/object entering frame at the end of the clip making it essentially useless. I have not found any setting solution to adjust the timing of the recordings.

My base station did not recognize the internal storage so I contacted customer support. They asked a couple simple questions then identified that I used one of the camera power converters instead of the one for the base unit. I swapped them out and the problem was immediately rectified. I am a very satisfied customer.
