Exotac presents the TinderZIP emergency zipper pull that doubles as a fire starter with Live Fire Gear Fire Cord that is highly flammable when pulled apart. The outer material has a wax-like coating that keeps the fire cord from getting wet. This set of 5 waterproof zipper pulls are sure to become an essential piece of your survival equipment. These work very well as zipper pulls and light up pretty easily. As long as you consider this a back-up and realize you will only get one fire from each, with proper tinder prepared before hand. My only knock is that once you use it, the zipper pull is useless. It would be a cool idea in the future to make it so you could extract the fire tinder and use it, then re-attach the zipper pull (unless there is a way to do this that I don't know). ... show more

These tinder pulls are great. Attach them to your bug out bag as a back up fire tinder. Attach them to your favorite cold weather hiking jacket or attach them to your favorite edc coat. Whatever or wherever you attach them, you will have a quick and easy fire tinder literally at your finger tips.
