It shipped and arrived as expected and appeared to be brand new but did not work when plugged into my laptop. I read the instructions carefully and it said it should just simply be plugged in by usb and should work. My laptop would not recognize that a device had been plugged in. I tried another laptop and it again did not register it. I plugged something else in the usb port to make sure it worked and a mouse plugged in worked fine. I asked my dad who is in the tech industry and he thinks the product is defective

I really recommend this wheel to somebody who is on a tight budget and wants to start sim racing. It works great with forza and other racing games

I must say I'm more than a little disappointed in this offering, and it didn't have to be that way. First, there were no instructions. Not really a problem for me, I can tell what needs to be plugged in where, etc, but I would have thought a nice simple sheet of instructions would be very helpful for most people. Interestingly, the photo on the company's website shows a booklet of instructions, but those were not in my package. Perhaps I was just the victim of a statistical accident. Secondly, it just can't hold onto my desk. The clamps are entirely made of slick plastic without a single piece of any sort of non-slip material. So, it slips while you're using it. They include carrying duffle of really thin material. While the pieces fit inside, it's just a bag of plastic parts, easily broken if you're not careful. I did enjoy using the wheel in the Forza Horizon games. They recognized all of the controls, as far as I could tell. It only took a few minutes to get used to the basics of driving with the wheel. It's fun to use, it just won't stay in place unless you modify it by using some non-slip material around the slick plastic clamps.

For the price, this was an excellent purchase. The wheel is extremely responsive and it was plug it and play with Forza on pc. Overall I’m satisfied. The only reason why I’m rating 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the dpad being stiff and unresponsive sometimes, you have to really dress down hard on it for it to work.
