  • It works out of the box
Was very impressed with this carb and the quality. It worked straight out of the box with no adjustments needed. Idles perfectly . Only thing different that I noticed was the fuel inlet was at an angle and the OEM fuel hose was a little short. I replaced the hose anyway so no big deal. If you need hose you will want 5/16 ID x 1/2 OD ... show more

  • Beware of fuel line connection orientation.
I installed this onto a 1995 Honda TRX 300 Fourtrax 4x4. I found the fuel line orientation on this carburetor was much different than the original carburetor. It points straight up rather than down and towards the front like the OEM. I had to buy a longer fuel line so I could route it to make the connection. After the fuel line problem was fixed, the carburetor does start and run quite well. I’m glad I was able to make it work but this is a major specification difference so beware for your application. ... show more

  • Cheap and easy.
No adjustments needed out of the box. Starts and idles excellent. No air or fuel leaks on this one. Would buy another for sure

  • It started
The product shipped and delivered fairly quickly and was here in time to be installed over the weekend. The only downside to this is there aren’t any new hoses fitted with the carb so my old cracked ones had to be replaced as well. It was not advertised but I figured it would have come with new hoses along with a semi figurative instruction manual.. no biggie though. Overall it took about an hour to fit it up and get it running, didn’t even need to choke it. Seems to have zero issues thus far. ... show more

  • Perfect right out of the box!
I was a bit skeptical about an after market carb but I installed this thing quickly and the atv I put it in fired right up. No adjustments needed and has been perfectly functioning so far.

  • Rapid delivery, exact fit
This replacement carb fit perfectly. It had a carb heater attachment point as well. The "tune" for our Rancher 350 was right on. Only needed to adjust the idle, other jets set to perfect running mix. As with most of these parts, some explanations of how choke cable and throttle cables are installed would have been beneficial for a "first timer". You need to turn carb around and around to install throttle cable retaining nut....so nothing else can be attached. You find that out forthwith. Overall, an excellent product that was properly adjusted for our application....and very rapid delivery. A good value. ... show more

  • adjust the float before installing
I battled this little carb...install was relatively straight forward just make sure you connector sensors and cables properly. My issue was it immediately dumped fuel out of the overflow. The engine would start but it would dump fuel non stop. Took it apart and found a piece of o-ring in the float needle valve. Assumed that was the problem and reinstalled - nope still dumped fuel. Took it back out and checked the float and it appears to be adjusted properly but if you blow in the fuel line air would escape. Bent the metal tab on the float, which made it appear slightly over adjusted but I could no longer get the air to escape. Reinstalled - no more leaks and it runs fine. Just a huge pain taking it in and out ... show more

  • Stuck float valve
Fit right up with no problems, took it for a test drive and parked it. Only to come back to find all the gas had leaked out due to the float valve being stuck. The design for the float hinge is horrible. Would not recommend.
