This product is extremely well built and the functionality and flexibility it offers are unmatched. Minimal assembly is required and even with that it was absolutely spot on out of the box with zero adjustment or calibration needed. Vibration in the saw is greatly dependent on the speed of the cut, the material, the angle, and most importantly the blade. Some are smoother than others and you have to tailor that to your particular need. It is absolutely a value to have in the shop but it doesn't come at the cheapest price, I will say it's worth the money if you need productivity and accuracy... it'll pay for itself in time and sanity. It goes well with a fixed cut table or the Evolution hydraulic assist miter stand, you're gonna want both or at least one of those. It takes up hardly any real estate to fit in your shop area. ... show more

This saw is AMAZING! I'm a long time fabricator, bodyman... and this is worth every penny! I also purchased the collapsible evolution stand with it. My only complaint is be aware when you bolt the saw to the stand, it warps the aluminum saw base as the stand isn't welded perfectly. at least the one i got. I had to shim the saw with washers to get it to not push the center of the saw up. other than that... simply amazing for the money! ... show more

Just finished setting it up and making my first cut. I had heard so many good things about the evos. I am coming from a dewalt abrasive chop saw. Wow. It is almost unbelievable how well it cuts. 2nd generation of the original, made stronger and with the smart motor! More than enough power and the fence is stiffer and stronger, the smart motor is supposed to make the blade last longer, can’t say for sure yet….. Cuts great, I can’t say enough good things about it!
