Everything about this saw is solid, well thought out and precisely executed! All the adjustments are quick and easy from the brilliant vise configuration to the saw head adjustment to keep the saw in the optimal axis over the different shapes being cut, along with the 46 deg left and right miter. Keeping the fence fixed in one orientation allows for efficient set up and the saw is adjusted around the work piece. Check out Evolutions video. If however this is way more functional and versital than you’re looking for, I have a Dewalt DW 872 in great condition I’ll gladly sell you ;)) ... show more

    • Rough start
The saw itself cuts great…. but after receiving a couple damages cross bars I was wondering the overall quality. Not all the rubber were installed in the saw, so they shipped those to me. I’ve seen so many good reviews…. After about a month of back and forth I finally was able to use my saw and as the reviews claim, it does an amazing job. Because of all the trouble I went through after receiving the saw, Evolution offered a replacement blade at no charge. I will say they’re attentive and customer service is great. It was a frustrating process but they stick by their product after it leaves their facility. Learning that, they’ve gained my trust. I’m sure my experience was an anomaly and in the future will buying more products from this company. ... show more

Putting together no big deal, simple and quick less 15 mins if you have good skills. After understanding the saw, did my first cutting, Oy !!! Smooth and quick. Amazing that the pieces can be picked up and handled. Not even hot ! It’s cool …. Very little sparks. My abrasive chop saw…. Out it goes !!! I made tons of stuff with this, I’m able cut angles. Whatever’s degrees to make my project work. I certainly will use this often…. The reviews and YouTube really sold me. Can’t go wrong. ... show more

This saw is bad to the bone. I was worried about blade life but I’m still on my first blade after 3 months of steady use so that’s no longer a concern. The build quality is really great, heavy duty components and well thought out design. The time saved in cutting and being able to have nice, tight joints to weld pays for this saw quickly.
