I have had a couple of different drinking fountains over the years for the little kitties. The fountains that work best are the ones with this type of filter. The motors seem to last longer (maybe because the filter captures stuff?). The water is fresh. With most of the fountains that use this type of filter, it is easy to install (open packet, rinse the new filter to get any loose charcoal off, and put in the fountain). I put in every so often when I do a big cleaning of the fountain. If slimy - you definitely need to put in a new one. :) ... show more

The product itself is great. works like it should in my zen waterfall drinking fountain for pets. however. I bought a returned product from the warehouse and I received 12 filters but only 11 were usable. the 12th filter has been cut, was smaller then the other filters and was not in the orginal wrapping (looked used even discolored). It was marked as inspected and all filters were okay. the person checking returns must not have the time to actually check the items being returned to ensure they are actually "like New" So I returned it. it isn't rocket science to check to make sure all items are unused and not damaged. ... show more

These are fine replacements for my drinkwell Platinum. They may fit others but that’s what we run for our cats and rescues. Currently we only run two Platinum fountains but with all the other dishes it keeps us in the game. These filters give us peace of mind that the little darlings watered. Good packing and shipping was good. Get them ordered today & keep your pets water crystal clear.
