I received this a day earlier than expected and couldn’t wait to open! I live in a studio apartment with my cat Bea and limited room . I chose to get rid of my regular bed and opted for a couch with a hide a bed. It did come with a 4” memory foam but I like to sleep comfortably so I got this topper in hopes it would do the job. 1st, 2nd and 3rd photos show how well it was packed…it came in Amazon box then its own packaging. 4th photo is instructions and I can’t stress enough to follow them and let it fluff up. 5th photo is on 20 minutes and you can see the fluff after shaking and shaking it! 6th photo is my cats approval….its comfortable and a fluffy!!!! I opted for this choice based on the pics and videos. Sadly disappointed. After a year and a half and a hospital bed I was excited to get in a REAL bed. I decided to keep it anyway but the seller should issue me a refund. Very cheap and thin. I even fluffed it up in the dryer. Definitely not 2 in. Maybe 1/4 inch at max. Don't be fooled. You could get this at Walmart for half the price I paid. I have a 10-in MF mattress and it fit nicely but a thicker mattress it might be a tight fit. ... show more

I jumped at this mattress protector at an incredible price to replace one that had worn out months ago. I missed that one and just would not spend the money folks were asking on a king sized topper. For the money, this can't be beat. When I aired it out to fluff it up, I had high hopes this was going to be like laying on a cloud! However, it is not. It LOOKS fluffy and luxurious and even makes your bed look soft after adding sheets and blankets. I like that. And it will protect the mattress below. But laying on it did not create an "ahhhh" feeling like my old one did. My bed does not feel any softer laying on it, but it does look great and is a great value for a mattress protector. It it nicely made and fits my king sized pillow top mattress well. I cannot tell if it is cooling or not as I still get warm in the middle of the night, but I have never noticed a "cooling" difference in any product that claims that. Maybe in the summer months I will notice a difference with this. If you are looking for extra soft cushioning like laying on a feather bed, I would keep looking; but if you want just a little extra protection at an affordable price, then I would recommend this. ... show more

It did not become a 2 inch thick topper/pad. It is soft & seems to have a cooling effect. But it is not as advertised— not 2 inches thick. I allowed it over 24 hours after removing from package & fluffing to thicken. When that didn’t help, I put it in the dryer for 30 minutes on low heat.
