Very Reliable and Cool temps as Expected from EVGA
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
If you are reading this, then you probably already did your homework on this card. I will "try" to keep it short EVGA in the GPU industry is usually regarded as a top tier brand and this card is no different, it provides stable great gaming experience with great temperatures. The overhead for overclocking seems to be decent but as of this writing I didn't fully explore that yet. If you are considering it for RTX I greatly recommend it but under the following circumstances, for now I only tested it on Battlefield V (Max RTX, Max Graphics) and it provides a stable 60 FPS experience on 1080p. Just to be clear 1080p while using this card is a great overkill. I opted for it as I like to record gameplay and upload also there is a good chance I will be upgrading my monitor within this year. so I wanted to make sure I don't get any issues while recording. This is how I personally was able to justify paying such a premium. I'm sure this card can pull 1440p easily with RTX ON with frames somewhere around 80 FPs with RTX Of however you can expect to be able to run 4K Games at 60 FPS stable without any issues The following is just my humble opinion: If you fall under any other category, other than what I mentioned above, I strongly suggest you look for more reviews or wait this one out (assuming you don't care about RTX) based on your personal situation. For example playing 4K with RTX on Max using this card isn't going to happen you will need to get the 2080 TI for that. If you have a monitor with anything higher than 120 FPS like the 144, you should also consider the 2080 TI. From what I gathered the new RTX 2060 Lineup should be able to get a 60 FPS gameplay at 1080p with RTX settings at Medium so this could also be an option for you if you are a 1080p gamer. The new RTX Lineup is rather complicated more than usual but due to that complication it also offers a great variety of options. That's why my final advice would be to take your time and read/watch reviews, benchmarks, and study your specific case carefully (Your monitor Resolution & Frames, RTX Settings you want, possibility of upgrading your monitor in the close future). International Shoppers rejoice: If you live in Kuwait I'm guessing the rest of the gulf as well, Amazon now ships directly to Kuwait in record times, Door to Door with full tracking and decent fees (make sure its Amazon Global Service). What can I say...
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
This card is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade to my THREE (3) GTX-980's in several ways: 1. It's ONE card, meaning much lower power. 2. It's one card meaning much lower heat generation. I see no more than 50 DEG C in my setup, whereas before I was seeing at least one of the three cards topping 80's often. 3. Takes all three of my monitors, and my HTC Vive connected. I learned that Vive only works direct through the HDMI, and not through a converted display port connection. I had to find the "right" setup with the other 3 cards to make sure it worked. Having 12 ports doesn't mean you can plug in 12 things. 4. It takes up a LOT less space in my case, so the whole thing is lighter. 5. I do not hear this card at all. The others I could hear especially when one would heat up. 6. The card snapped it in less than 1 minute, and I didn't even need to upgrade the drivers. I did so anyway, just to be sure, but it set itself up just fine, with three monitors (non-surround) just like I had it before. 7. I have yet to see GPU usage above 80% on anything. I have everything I play maxed. The only time it peaked was when I ran the MSI Kumbustor performance check. 8. It has more, faster memory than those three 980's combined. 9. No SLI messing around. 10. I buy EVGA because they are quality built. I've never had one fail on me. This one is built solid and the fan set up is a work of art (to a mechanical engineer...). Bottom line: Very happy with my long awaited upgrade. ... show more

"FASTEST THING EVER!" (direct quote from a kid!)
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
Overclocks very well! I run +100mhz on the GPU and +1000mhz on the memory and with all the other sliders to max, this card boosts up to 2160MHz with a 72*(Fahrenheit - 'merica!) room and in a case. Fans can be ran pretty high before they become audible. With a fan curve tuned for noise, the GPU gets up to 65*(c) during heavy gaming. Plastic shroud isn't the best and the light from the LED looks a little weird. The cooler and card overall aren't built near as heavy as my old 1070 ti was, but GPU sag with this 2080 isn't really an issue, so maybe thats why. Overall, would highly recommend this GPU! I have this monitor paired with an LG 34" 2560x1080 144hz G-sync monitor and this card (finally) makes full use of the FPS with triple digits in every title I've played so far. Also the 2560x1080 is a lighter load with RTX on. This GPU paired with that monitor is perfect for a no compromise gaming pc! Triple digit FPS with all settings maxed out all the time! System Specs; 9900k up to 5500MHz - 16GB 4133mhz Ram - Asus Maximus X Hero z370 - 750w EVGA PSU. TimeSpy = 13104 TimeSpy Extreme = 5997 Rise of the Tomb Raider Benchmark = 124 FPS (2560x1080 MAX settings, motion blur off) ... show more

died in 1 day, had to return
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
Edit: It's been 8 months since replacement and no issue. Hopefully this was a rare occurrence. Improve rating, but still taking away 1 star because of the hassle. Because not everyone was able to stress the card like me to find issue right away, and may have discovered it past return policy date. Original review: I've been always buying EVGA NVIDIA cards. I had one of each generation since GTS 8800. I've been always lucky, until now. This is the card that died. Within a day I started to see artifacts on screen. You know the kind, the 8-bit space invader looking ones. It's on both of my monitors, so it's not monitor issue. I've seen this problem before on other people's machines, pretty sure it's a RAM issue on the video card. Also big clue is crashes when I benchmark it with Superposition. I have 1000W UPS and have been using 1080 for 2 years. Only difference is swapping it with the 2080. This card is going back. Will change rating once replacement is verified as working (for at least a reasonable amount of time) On the bright side, Amazon's replacement process makes things so easy! I don't think I'll be going back to that other site... you know the one... the one relating to what a chicken lays. ... show more

Purchased FTW3 April 8th, 2019 @ $1,300. 2 1/2 years later it still bangs hard in a second PC.
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
I bought it as an upgrade to my old Alienware Area-51 desktop (the triangle shaped one) I bought in 2015. It performed admirably, and really opened my computer up to a ton of high end games at great quality. I have since moved on and built a tower from ibuypower. I got a 3090 ROG Strix white edition with 10900k cpu / 32GB ram.. and I have to say, that this 2080 is still a monster. Keeps up extremely well with all modern games, and makes me wonder why I even upgraded. I rebuilt my wife's computer (upgraded her CPU, RAM, and replaced her gpu with this 2080). Our systems are almost equal, of course mine can do more things with the VRAM, but good lord I feel like this 2080 is going to last for another 3 or 4 years until it even begins to struggle. And that's a hard maybe on the struggling. Bottom line, this card is awesome. Was gut wrenching to buy on day 1, but stoked with it in the end. ... show more

Amazing card for my 1440 system
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
Badass card that’s a beast. Very expensive but I’m ok with that. Still cheaper than the 2080ti. Easily overclocked it with MSI Afterburner and paired with an overclocked 8700k. Update: Card is still super fast and cool. Does have a weird grind sound when pc turns on but I’ve read that everywhere and doesn’t seem to be causing an issue. Now I wish I could have held out for the upcoming Super-series but that’s the fun of technology. ... show more

Excellent EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 Ultra 3 fan GPU with huge heatsink
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
This is one of the best performing RTX 2080 video cards you can get. EVGA's huge and heavy heatsink is uber effective with the EVGA ICX 3 fan cooling shroud. Short of a liquid cooled solution, this is the very best cooling you can get on air. Some folks buying this card may want to prevent or deal with GPU sag by getting a bracket to prevent or fix the issue. ... show more

Great card, although pricey
Style: Graphics Card, FTW3
The card lives up to the hype. Very quiet with outstanding UHD performance. EVGA has always served me well in the past with the quality of their cards. Purchased from Amazon due to faster free shipping. For those wanting a high performance card for a gaming rig, I highly recommend this card.
