The media could not be loaded. Note: be sure to measure the wood trim at the top of your inner window frame if you plan to install inside rather than above. I made the mistake of measuring from window to outer trim, and the brackets couldn't be screwed into it as the wood trim was too narrow. We installed above, and wish we'd gotten a couple inches larger to suit this option. It still looks great though (: I love the fabric, they have a textured pearly/silky sheen to them mixed with a flat linen look which was exactly what I was looking for. With a light tug, they roll themselves right back up. They do have a bit of a tent like sound to them but I don't mind. They look fabulous (: easy to install as well. Some reviewers said it looked like just a piece of fabric over the windows when they're down, but my window is 48 inches tall, we got I think the 60 inch ones? So they still have a pretty fold at the bottom that makes it look nice (: the "you get what you pay for" comments had me so nervous but I'm very happy with these. I will say, the backing for room darkening is a bit cheap, it feels like a vinyl tent and crinkles and creases like paper. ... show more

These Roman style shades are really awesome. Installation is quick and easy with simple tools (I used a drill and screwdriver). The cordless mechanism works well and we are very happy with them (we bought 3). Measurement was spot on and fits nicely in our windows. Material is good quality and "blackout" is thick enough to block all light except what sneaks in around the sides (we have inside mount). 2 reasons I can't give 5 stars. The first is that the mounting brackets have a plastic component that breaks easily. One of the 6 came broken in the package. Because the design is really good, I was still able to mount it. The second is that I ordered 3 pcs 34x64, but I received 2 pcs 31x64 (even though they were marked 34x64), so I had to send the 2 back and re-order. The 2nd set are fine. Overall, I would still buy this again. The value for the price is really good. ... show more

I give this five stars because it is a great shade. However, they're a little pricey but I'm not going to dock a star because of it. If you're hesitating don't it's the cheapest shade I can find in that color blue and I don't regret it. It's good quality.

I purchased these roman shades for my home office and they are so beautiful. They arrived quickly, were super easy to hang, and give my office that professional, elegance that I wanted. The cordless design is very smooth (some are not) and I generally reach up and adjust them from my desk with only a pinky lol. I have had these installed for 6+ months now Pros: Easy to install, easy up and down, looks good Cons: darkens but definitely does not black out the room and the stitching AND fabric stretching/tearing where you pull them down
