The cheap plastic sheath that came with my 6" culinary knife as a gift eventually needed to be replaced. I love how simply my knife slides into the sheath without the danger of me getting cut. It's padded on the inside to protect the knife and it just clides right in. They are sturduy and fit my 6" & 8" knives perfectly. It solved my problem at an affordable price!

Pros: The lining is soft and doesn't scratch knives The 6" and 8" piece fit chef knives of those length comfortably Sturdy as can be. I needed to trim off a few inches on 12" I had bought as well and it was a task to cut with a hacksaw. Cons: They are a little loose, but a few rubber bands around them makes them perfect. Options for buying these aren't exactly practical in larger packages. The larger set comes with 2 pairing knife covers. I use these to transport knives to and from a professional kitchen and they have proven their quality. They've protected my expensive knives exactly as I would have hoped. Highly suggest these.
