But throw it in the wash with fabric softener on delicate and the dryer on low and suddenly it's this super chinchilla soft fluffy blanket and it doesn't shed. the measurements are actually about 50"x62" so it's just a small throw but perfect to cuddle with in the car or wrap around your shoulders like a shawl. The fur is not very long but very soft. The color shading is nice with tones flowing into each other. In terms of quality, this blanket is really soft! However, it's extremely thin and will not keep you warm. This blanket is definitely something you leave on your couch and sit on it or maybe a temporary cover while you read a book. It will not keep you warm :(
