Always cool to the touch. Sometimes one of my Shih Tzu dogs will claim the blanket for herself and since we’re both old ladies, I let her have it occasionally. Blanket has held up well to wash & dry. Helps me fall asleep & sleep throughout the night.

I ordered this blanket during Prime Day and I am so glad I did. It works!!! I roast at night and keep a fan running 24/7. I have gotten the best sleep since this blanket arrived. It really keeps me cool. There are 2 sides to the blanket, a shiny silky side which is super cooling and a softer not shiny side which is snuggly and not as cooling. The trick to this blanket being super cooling is don’t put a sheet or another blanket on top of it. I sleep with the shiny side against my skin and only this blanket on and I am cooler with the blanket on than if I don’t have it on at all. Oddly I have actually gotten cold using it and have pulled my sheet overtop of the blanket and it warms it up, or I turn the blanket on the other side and it will warm me up. I highly recommend this blanket if you are a hot sleeper. I did wash it before using, just don’t put it in the dryer, I hung it up in my attic and it was dry in about an hour. I bought this blanket for the hot summer so that I had a good way to cool off from the heat. I didn’t use it for a while because I was using a weighted blanket as a main blanket, and didn’t have space on my bed to use another blanket (my room was a horrible mess). But when it became hot, I started using it more often. It works fairly well, it does stay cool to the touch, but it isn’t perfect. Before I explain my gripes about this blanket, I’ll start with what I really like. The blanket is always cool to the touch, which is very nice and the obvious selling point of this blanket. I’ll drape it over me, and it does help to cool me down a slight bit on hotter days. It covers my whole body (5’11” dude if that is any consolation) and I still have wiggle room for the blanket. The size of the blanket is great, and additionally it’s really thin. I guess it figures since it does need to be cooler than a regular blanket. However, it’s much thinner than I realized it was going to be. As a result, it’s fairly easy to pack away; it can fold really small and takes little space when folded. As much as I have liked this blanket, there are some things that I don’t love about this blanket. Firstly is the coolness, as I have mentioned this blanket does a decent job cooling, but in the daytime this blanket can warm up to body temperature within 5 minutes. It can heat up even more if the temperature is hot, even more so if I am hot from either a run or sleeping. Secondly, it isn’t the easiest thing to fold. Although I mentioned it’s easy to pack away, it is not easy to fold it into a small box. The blanket had two layers stacked onto each other, so sides go anywhere they want to. As a result, it is hard to properly fold both sides in at the same time. Other than that, I really like this blanket. If you get hot easily or if you live somewhere hot in the summers, it’s a great blanket to cool yourself down for a little bit. But anything longer than 5 minutes, and then it’s just a piece of fabric laying on top of you. I still highly recommend it, it’s a great option rather than turning on the ac. ... show more

I’m really impressed with this blanket. It is extremely thin but I do sleep noticeably cooler with this blanket. It’s 60 x 60 so you can lay it long ways on a queen size bed and it will cover half the bed for size comparison. I do feel the price is a bit high for what you get considering I own a cooling comforter that I bought from Walmart for the same price and it’s better quality but it’s alright. I’m happy to have this blanket. My kids love how it feels and they are kids with some sensory issues… so kiddo approved. ... show more

I honestly didn't think too much of this blanket but wow...the difference in feels when you have it over your legs. You can immediately feel the coolness of the blanket and because it's summer time. I tend to use it as my main blanket for just chilling around the couch or in bed napping! I love the cool to the touch feeling and yes it's worth every penny! ... show more

The blanket is slightly weighted and cool material that prevents over heating of your body while you sleep. Would recommend it. It is a twin size blanket though it states as queen size.
