Ordered one from Walmart that never showed up! Found this one on Amazon at a better price, Perfect Fit and Easy to replace. Let it hang for a couple days and the fit gets better (Tightened up sides) and sealed up.

The media could not be loaded. We have 4 dogs, 3 of which are heelers. VERY active dogs. We installed our dog door a few years back and love it. It keeps us from having to get up every 5 minutes to let a dog out. The flaps last about a year or so, sometimes less. They also seem to get a little brittle in the winter. I will note that the entire dog door itself probably needs to be replaced when it’s warm again. It has started to chip and is a little loose. Again—plastic and cold don’t mix. Anyway, these replacement flaps are inexpensive-ish and get the job done. They are exactly like the ones that come with the door and are fairly easy to install. Just make sure you get the same size as the door you purchased.

I was a little concerned with some of the reviews that said it needed longer screws and should include washers but figured that those issues were minor. So I went ahead and ordered the flap as a replacement for my old worn-out flap. I must say I am very happy I ordered this flap - installment was a breeze. I didn't need longer screws; I didn't need any washers; and the holes were in the right place. It took me less than 5 minutes to replace the flap! I have only had it for a couple of days so I don't know how durable it is. It is made of the same sturdy material than our last flap, so I am not very concerned that it will not last long. The door is located on the south side of the house and we live in the southern United States - it is October and temperatures are still in the mid 80s.

In less than 10 minutes she was going in and out of the pet door! I have several I had to return because the bottom of the door is anywhere from 3” to 6” depending on the opening! My door was for large 98 pound Doberman

Well we are almost 3 months in and the door has broken. I have 4 dogs (a lab, boxer, and 2 frenchies) that use the door frequently throughout the day. The top started to go and then the magnet started to break on one end now my daughter just brought me the whole magnet that just fell off the bottom. The flap part is good and sturdy but the magnet and the top part could not take the use. If you have one or 2 dogs then it would probably hold up.
