I'm 375lbs, 6' 2", and I have RA. I use this chair to help me get around. I ordered this in the 24" seat width and I have plenty of comfortable space. The chair is very sturdy and construction is well done. This is a heavy chair but I expected that with a weight capacity of 500 lbs. My sweet wife has no trouble pushing this chair around, with me in it, and she's 5'8" at 135lbs (got permission to list her weight). The removable arms, foot rests and height of the seat are all easy to adjust. Getting through commercial doorways are easy but narrow doorways in your home may be difficult or not possible. I use this to get around outside of our home and love it. The hammered finish is durable and easy to clean. The seat is padded but not breathable, so I have a lambs wool seat pad and back for better comfort. Delivery was very quick and I received it three days after I placed the order. ... show more

This is a very good wheelchair, and it will fit down most hallways in a standard home. It will go through a modified 30" bedroom door, but not through a 24" bathroom door. Adding offset door hinges and trimming the lower doorstop strips, will allow the wheelchair through the bedroom door. (I have pictures of these exact modifications on another wheelchair review at Amazon.com). The wheelchair may be too heavy to lift in and out of a automobile car trunk, and we use another wheelchair/transport chair when we are traveling. ... show more

Got this so that we could get our father into the home with the new ramp that we bought so he could come home and not be in a nursing home. It is working very well get an extra pad for the seat that way it's a little bit more comfortable and she is very heavy for a person who's old and kind of disabled herself to lift into the back of the trunk but once you get the trick down it's all good ... show more

For the price, I truly feel this is one of the best chairs on the market. It is durable, but does not come with the weight so many do, making the product easier to handle when putting it in or out of vehicles. Of course, this will not be a chair for life, my wife uses this daily, is somewhat active, with the chair being pushed over all kinds of terrain. If your use is like ours plan on replacing, or replacing parts in 12-18 months. But it's affordable enough to do that! ... show more

Very disappointed, breaks have both broken off on both sides, have tried numerous times to contact for help on matter no reply. Have only had I'd 31/2 months and as a disables person to pay cash for something that I'm not able to use is ver upsetting
