When my car broke down I didn’t have a car for a few months and i live really close to a train station where I can catch the train and get dropped off close to my job. Total of about 10mile round trip. The scooter handled the ride very well. Had 2 “major” hills to get up on my return so a full battery charge was sometimes risky. But it always got me home on one bar of battery left. But I usually was able to charge it at work so I had a full battery on the way home. It is very dangerous if you don’t pay attention. One day on my way home. I take the same route everyday but this day there was a mysterious pot hole on the sidewalk I didn’t see and my wheel caught the lip of it and my handbars turnt and locked on me and I flew off the scooter and broke my toe 😂 but I kept riding it to and from work with the broken toe. I was skeptical when I bought reading the bad reviews but for the price I said whatever and got it and I love it honestly. 0 issues with it what do ever. Even after my almost fatal crash 😅

Got this scooter to help my commute for when we go back to the office. So far, I've been enjoying just driving it around with my kids. The 3 powers settings have been great. I'll let my kids use it, but only on the lowest setting so they can't go too fast for their ability. But it's easy enough my 6 yr old can ride it. I like the fact that there is a cruise control so you don't have to continuously hold the accelerator, but you can also remove the cruise control by hitting the accelerator again. Hitting the brakes when you're going 15 mph can feel a little unsafe. I like to remove the CC to start to slow down, and then brake. I'm 200 lbs, and I can easily get to 15 mph on the highest setting. The 2nd setting is limited to 10mph, and the slowest is 6.5 mph. It has a smooth ride, though the solid tires can get a little bumpy when you move to the asphalt. Not a big problem to me. as I don't have to worry about flats. battery life has been great. I charged it two weeks ago for the first time, and while I haven't used it every day, i have gone on a few bike rides with my kids and gone to the office one time. It's now showing as half full on the charge, so I am happy with the battery. I like that it folds up. I take it into my office, and set it in the corner. I can carry it one handed. Overall, very impressed with the construction so far. It's been a lot of fun.

Waste of money!!! I paid $300 I’ve only had this scooter since March 25th 2021 and the height adjustment broke off and my acceleration broke off and the wires ripped from where they were! To say this scooter has extra safety specs such as the emergency touch brake, cruise control, shock absorption, no air wheels and the safety light, you would think this is the perfect scooter that’s budget friendly. This scooter is HAZARDOUS! The height adjustment and the acceleration both broke while I was riding on the road!!!!! The safety light does not illuminate anything other than your thoughts of running into a pot hole because you cannot see! The shock absorbers are pointless because the tires are very thin and small, so the line that separates the tile in the sidewalk could cause you to fall off! The acceleration either jerks to take off or stalls, the breaks are also jerky. I am very upset with the purchase and the company Evercross because I purchased two of these scooters prior to them both breaking!!!! Now that they are both broken......the 30 day return Amazon offers has expired and Evercross does not have a customer service number so I do not even know whether they have a manufacturer warranty. So yeah $600 wasted!!!! I should of just paid 500 per scooter for the HiBoy Update 5/22/21: I was only able to reach the vendor after writing a bad review. I am still not happy with this purchase nor how the vendor is resolving their malfunctioning product. They sent me a new acceleration lever with wires but I have to unscrew the dash board and they did not send me a screw small enough for that. I deeply regret purchasing from this vendor and not reading the recent negative reviews. 7 weeks in, your product breaks and now I have to play repairman and you do not even send me everything needed to repair your broken product. Amazon!?!?!?!?!?!?! 06/05/2021: Again this is a terrible scooter and even more incompetent seller (Evercross), I have yet to receive the replacement parts and tools, I have yet to receive another malfunctioning and cheaply made scooter, I have yet to be refunded! Amazon told me I would have a good experience based off of previous ratings, LIES! 07-03-21: Update 6 weeks later still no resolve. I am still waiting on the replacement parts/tools or scooter, but guess what the 2nd scooter that I purchased 04-08-2021 the brakes broke off of that one. The truth is here, these scooters are designed to last for 6-8 weeks, Amazon only provides a 30 Day warranty, the manufacturer provides a year warranty. Evercross customer service is non existent they make it difficult to contact them for a claim, they question the validity of your claim. I feel completely let down by Amazon, it took Amazon a few days to charge my bank account and send me the scooter. Now that it’s 6weeks later and it’s broken Amazon has no resolution and no support. I do no think Amazon should continue selling products from a vendor/manufacturer that has proven to defect on their customers 2 weeks after their 30 day warranty. 07-21-21 UPDATE: Still no resolution, I have been in communication with Amazon, if you have purchased this scooter or any product from this seller/ manufacturer please leave a review detailing the experience and then contact customer care to file an official complaint against the product and manufacturer. Amazon is not Wish, us as customers expect our products from Amazon to be quality items and in the event that they are not, as a customer of Amazon I expect to receive an exchange or refund, and the product to be removed. Here we are going into 4 months of me owning this scooter that only has a 12 month warranty and the scooter only functioned properly for 1 month and 2 weeks. Once I am finish with this claim I do not think I will make any other purchases from Amazon, I rather shop locally and build a relationship with a business that values by dollars and feedback. #cancelAmazon 11/27/2021 Update: REFUNDED!!! Well fellow scooter friends I am FINALLY DONE with EVERCROSS AND AMAZON!!! So as I mentioned previously, the manager at the nearby storage unit donated me two boxes to return these defect scooters. After I returned the first scooter Evercross completely ghosted me and ceased all communications. I was very weary of that which is why I initially only sent one back. I contacted Amazon….and once I submitted proof that I returned the item…AMAZON REFUNDED ME! From that point Amazon took over received the second scooter and immediately refunded me! I have not purchased with Amazon since and have no future intentions. This was a bad experience. I am instead supporting local and in search of a scooter to purchase locally. I just upgraded the tires on my Gotrax to airless. SCOOTERS are becoming, shop wisely friends, remember in this day everyone is shopping online pay attention to reviews and product specs. Leave HONEST reviews, we as consumers have to look out for the next shopper. Peace

My son loves this scooter, it's sturdy, battery life is good. It's fast enough... overall, pleased. A couple months ago, he had an accident and broke the hinge for the rear fender. I first tried to contact the company using their website, and eventually got someone to respond to my email. Then they told me to contact through amazon, which I could not figure out how to do that.... some of that is on me. So once I figured that out, then it was back and forth, I sent pictures and then we worked it out. I finally got the hinge, but the front fender not the back fender. (I actually don't even need the fender, but I had hoped it would come as one assembly).. I mean eventually they get back to you, but the customer service was not great and overall it took me 2 months to get the part. Also, it cam with no instructions, and if you aren't a handy person with mechanical knowledge, you would have a heck of a time trying to put it back together.... Just keep that in mind when buying something. Good product, but customer support isn't as easy as it could be. I just contacted them asking if I could return the incorrect fender for a partial refund. I mean $30 for small piece of plastic?? But better than not being able to use the scooter....
