I’ve been using the Evenflo Shyft DualRide car seat and stroller combo for a while now, and honestly, I love it. It has made outings and travel so much easier. What I love most: • It’s extremely versatile — going from car seat to stroller in seconds is a huge win, especially when I’m out alone with my child. • Installation is very easy, which gives peace of mind when switching cars or traveling. • It’s perfect for travel (airports, quick errands, appointments). • The design is practical and smooth, and everything feels well-thought-out. The only downside: My one wish is that it could grow with my child longer. It maxes out at 35 lbs, so while it’s amazing for the infant/toddler stage, you will eventually need to transition to another seat. Overall: If you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use car seat that doubles as a stroller — especially for travel or busy days — this is an excellent choice. Despite the weight limit, I would absolutely recommend it to parents who value convenience and versatility. ... show more

i absolutely love this car seat. it’s a little bulky and heavy carrying with the wheels on, but that’s expected. without the wheels i could easily carry my 8lb newborn and lift him in and out of the car by myself. once you figure it out, it’s so easy to use and so worth it.

We have been using this car seat + stroller for a month and so far we love it! We had a technical issue, the tightening strap (which is too long, in my opinion) got stuck between the stroller part and the base and we couldn’t get the car seat out. I called evenflo and they were able to zoom me with one of their car seat techs and we got it solved. (Allison and Kim at evenflo were great to work with!) It’s so functional! We love the ease of using the stroller when we are out and about, but also love the fact that we can leave the wheels in the car. since we have a split level home we love being able to just take the seat in which is very light weight, since we have to go up stairs to get in our home. It all seems very well made and sturdy! But the stroller part definitely isn’t made for going on long walks or using in grass/ gravel. You would want a different stroller for these situations. Also love the look of it! It looks so fancy with the all black seat and the leather looking handle. One more note, we learned that the handle has to be fully snapped (when lowering or raising) in order to be able to change the position of the handle bar and vice versa. ... show more

We bought the Evenflo Shyft DualRide specifically for international travel, and it honestly made the trip way easier than expected. Being able to use it as both a car seat and stroller was a huge win, as we used it in all the airports during layovers. Once we landed, we were able to buckle it into rides without the base, which gave us a lot of flexibility. That feature alone was why we bought it. In the past, we had considered just buying cheap car seats and donating them when we returned home. The base it comes with is well designed too, it uses the car’s anchor points for secure attachment and feels solid. The seat itself is well padded, with quality cushions and a sun cover that feels like actual high-end fabric, not just a cheap plastic flap. Our son seemed comfortable in it even for long periods. One of the most surprising features is the smart buckle. It actually alerts me if the baby’s been buckled in too long, which is a nice reminder to give him a break and stretch his legs. Even better, the app pings my phone if I walk away while he’s still strapped in. The only downside is the price. Given it’s definitely on the higher end, but considering what it offers, I think it earns it. The only minor concern is that the stroller mode has a bit of wobble when pushing, so while it doesn’t feel unsafe, it’s not as tight or smooth as a full-sized dedicated stroller like we have that you could offroad with, but this was a niche buy for airports and overseas and it works great for that. Still, I’d absolutely buy it again for the convenience and safety features. ... show more
