Love the quality, comfort, security and the swivel. My son doesn't slouch his head anymore or go forward when we accelerate like his infant seat. (Yes the buckle was at his armpits) I don't really like that it doesn't have a carry handle. Tonight I realized that if my son falls asleep we have to physically remove him when we get home which wakes him up instead of being able to easily carry him in the seat still sound asleep. We get in the door and usually have a few minutes to set things down before he wakes up. Also there's no pull over shade to keep the sun out of his eyes in the car. Pretty dissapointed about that. And I can't easily put him in the stroller or grocery cart like my other infant car seat. My son just turned 5 months so we're in this in-between stage where he's almost too big for his infant seat, and can't sit on his own in a shopping cart. So there's that, but I hate carrying him in his infant car seat cause its so darn heavy with him in it and it doesn't swivel so I hurt my back and arms almost everytime taking him places and it makes me not want to leave the house. I know I just contradicted myself there from an earlier statement I made but I'm so 50/50 on which seat to use right now BTW I'm only 4'11" and live on the 3rd floor of an apartment with lots of stairs so yeah tough predicament. ... show more

Yes, this thing is expensive. But the quality and ease of use make it all worthwhile to me. Putting my child into the seat is much easier now that I can rotate the seat. She seems comfortable in there, and, although the installation is a little bit more complicated than a normal seat, it holds very well onto the car seat, and likely won’t budge if we ever get into an accident. The little clip sensor and application is interesting, I really like the concept, but I think the execution is a little lacking. So far it only notifies one phone at a time whenever there is a buckling issue or if the car is too hot. Sometimes the app bugs out a little bit And starts to give us extremely loud alerts about the car being too hot when the temperature is about 70°F inside and very comfortable. I’m hoping that the developers put a few quality of life improvements into the application and fix the bugs, but I would say that it still needs a bit of work . Appearance is nice, and the padding is comfortable for my child. My wife is very happy with the purchase! ... show more

It has more safety areas than I had seen before ... She looked sooo tiny in it ! But she is a tad small for her age . The nicest thing is she looks so safe and secure. Her head is cushioned either side of the headrest. The same with her body that's nestled on either side of the seat. It is very well made and she should be able to use it until she out grows it . The safety harness fits snug but is adjustable to be comfortable. Excellent fabric, easy to clean.. Really , really happy with my purchase. ... show more

My son is 2 and he is still rear facing. My husband's car is very hard to get him in and out very easily, so we purchased this to help with that. For the most part, this is a great and cool carseat. We love the swivel and all the safety features it has. The only thing I hate about it is the bottom buckle. It digs into my son's thighs and I think as he gets bigger that's going to become an issue. It needs to be shaped differently pr something to avoid that. I wpuld love to purchase one for my car, but due to that, I will keep my britax in there and probably purchase another one of those later. ... show more
