I really loved this car seat especially because I was able to get it for a good price since it was on sale and I also added it to my registry list so I was able to get an extra 15% off and paid less than 100 dollars for it. It does come with the base as well for those that are wondering. You are also able to insert on the “evenflo reversi lightweight stroller” that Walmart sells. You just detach the the seat that it comes with on the stroller and attach the infant car seat on there. I like it because later on if you don’t want your baby laying to long inside the carseat you just put the other seat the stroller came with and lay it flat on the stroller and your baby is much safer, comfortable and better laying down that way instead of being in the car seat. I posted pictures of what the stroller looks like with the infant car seat and the seat it comes with as well that way you get an idea of what I’m talking about . Remember stroller is bought separately and only cost me $104 dollars. It has a lot of space at the bottom and isn’t to tall or to short it’s the perfect size and it’s lightweight. Fits into my Ford Edge well with and without the base. Light enough to cart the baby in and out of the house in the seat. And once you figure out how to loosen and re tighten the belt, it's easy to get the baby in and out of the seat. Fortunately I have not needed to find out if it's safe or not, so am relying on the advertised specs for that. I do have the stroller it fits on too, and it is fairly easy to install into that, too. ... show more

It’s padding isn’t too much but it’s comfortable enough that if I could lay in it, I would. It’s lightweight so it’s easy for someone small like me (100 pounds) to carry around with my 10 pound baby lol It’s a cute color and it’s really good quality.

I searched for months for a good car seat and loved the reviews for this one! My baby fits just right from birth and there wasn't too much room so I felt it was safe and secure for my baby. The base is also one of the easiest ones I've ever installed! So quick for me to transfer back and forth between vehicles. I'm 5'2 and 118 pounds and it is easy for me to carry and move by myself! We love this car seat! My daughter so far hates all car seats so I mean that is what it is, but this is a great car seat! It's soft and light. Our previous car seat (we got this one because that one expired) with the heat my daughter would always be hot and sweaty when I pulled her out. With this car seat in the same heat I've not once pulled her out sweaty. It breaths great and is super comfortable. It is much narrower than our previous car seat though, I've posted a picture for comparison. So if you have a big baby I don't know how well it would work. I am slightly nervous for as she grows older, but we will have to see. She is currently 13lbs at 4 months and she's on the longer side so she fits it wells. When it comes to shopping carts hooking it into the carts made for car seats or putting it in the cart are really the only ways to go. The way the handle is made is also really nice. More of a square shape the the traditional rounded handle. It's flatter at the corners of the handle as well which makes it not as hard/painful to carry it on your arm. An unfortunate part is the way the area where the handle attaches to the car seat. It sticks out a bit farther than my other car seat so it did leave some bruising on my leg after a day or two of carrying it a bit, but I'm sure I could find a different position to carry it that wouldn't rub on my leg so often. My daughter was born prematurely at 36 weeks and weighed only 3 pounds 15 ounces when we left the hospital. Because of her small size we were required to get a car seat rated for a 3 pound baby, which I didn’t even know was available. The NICU nurse suggested this one. It’s not the most comfortable for baby as it lacks a seat insert to make it more cushioned. However, the head rest is soft and the car seat is well built. It’s easy to get in and out of the car with the car base. If you aren’t looking to spend a lot on a car seat, this is a great option. ... show more
