Purchased these car seats for my twins. Although I’m happy with the stroller base and the toddler seats I am not happy with the car seats. The car seat is designed with such inclination that somehow the babies’ heads/neck/ upper body are not properly positioned. When my babies cry LOUD , the sound of their cry is not expressed as it should it’s blocks their airway (meaning instead of hearing loud cry , the cry sound is low). I’ve had to stick my hand under their back to push up to allow airway flow while they cry during a car ride. Terrible. Sadly it’s a purchase I made before them being born they are now 2 months old and I can’t return due to Amazon’s 30 day policy. I hate the car seats so much. ... show more

I really loved this car seat especially because I was able to get it for a good price since it was on sale and I also added it to my registry list so I was able to get an extra 15% off and paid less than 100 dollars for it. It does come with the base as well for those that are wondering. You are also able to insert on the “evenflo reversi lightweight stroller” that Walmart sells. You just detach the the seat that it comes with on the stroller and attach the infant car seat on there. I like it because later on if you don’t want your baby laying to long inside the carseat you just put the other seat the stroller came with and lay it flat on the stroller and your baby is much safer, comfortable and better laying down that way instead of being in the car seat. I posted pictures of what the stroller looks like with the infant car seat and the seat it comes with as well that way you get an idea of what I’m talking about . Remember stroller is bought separately and only cost me $104 dollars. It has a lot of space at the bottom and isn’t to tall or to short it’s the perfect size and it’s lightweight. We love this car seat! My daughter so far hates all car seats so I mean that is what it is, but this is a great car seat! It's soft and light. Our previous car seat (we got this one because that one expired) with the heat my daughter would always be hot and sweaty when I pulled her out. With this car seat in the same heat I've not once pulled her out sweaty. It breaths great and is super comfortable. It is much narrower than our previous car seat though, I've posted a picture for comparison. So if you have a big baby I don't know how well it would work. I am slightly nervous for as she grows older, but we will have to see. She is currently 13lbs at 4 months and she's on the longer side so she fits it wells. When it comes to shopping carts hooking it into the carts made for car seats or putting it in the cart are really the only ways to go. The way the handle is made is also really nice. More of a square shape the the traditional rounded handle. It's flatter at the corners of the handle as well which makes it not as hard/painful to carry it on your arm. An unfortunate part is the way the area where the handle attaches to the car seat. It sticks out a bit farther than my other car seat so it did leave some bruising on my leg after a day or two of carrying it a bit, but I'm sure I could find a different position to carry it that wouldn't rub on my leg so often.     • It’s decent
I had this same infant seat with my older boys before it expired and it worked well enough for being on the cheaper end of car seats. It still works well enough for protecting baby, but the straps don’t always tighten at the same length so you have to loosen it all the way and then retighten and sometimes the tightening strap catches and won’t want to tighten smoothly. It is easy to wash, easy to assemble and disassemble, and it detaches from the base fine. It is easy enough to change the harness height and width, you just have to do it manually instead of a simple lever like some more expensive seats. I don’t like how this seat installs without the base though because you use the entire seatbelt of most vehicles and it can be difficult to install and uninstall with the baseless option.     • Aggravating In So Many Ways!

Credentials: Mom of four Pros: 1. Light colored fabric so it doesn’t get as hot as the black fabrics. 2. Base tightens the anchors for you rather than having to yank and pull with all your might 3. Angled carrying handle is more helpful than the rounded ones Cons: Where to start…. 1. The seat cover doesn’t come off to be washed. I know you’re not supposed to wash the straps, but the cover is a must. Of the many car seats I’ve owned, I’m pretty sure this is the first like this. 2. Maybe mine is just defective, but the carrier often sticks when clicking into the base. Then I have to fight to pull it back off to secure it again. When it does click, I check it multiple times to be sure it’s safe- not very reassuring. This is a huge thumbs-down! 3. The straps don’t adjust easily AT ALL. They stick as well. I’ll loosen the pull strap at the bottom and pull at the shoulders. Nothing happens. Eventually I get it loose, buckle baby in, and then check that it feels secure. Sometimes when I go to take her out, the straps aren’t tight anymore. Not sure if she’s able to pull at them, but either way, this is definitely a design flaw. I’m sure there’s more, but I’m over it. I’m not writing this on a whim. I’ve been planning on it for awhile b/c this seat is so annoying, but just now pulling two thirds of the cover off only to discover the rest is permanently affixed compelled me to grab my phone. I had a different carrier prior to this one that was made by a known, albeit slightly-less-reputable brand. It was significantly better (and half the price)! We were in an accident with it. It kept my little one safe, but of course I had to get another one. I thought this would be an upgrade… smh Simply put: I deeply regret this purchase! ... show more
