Great price and super easy to assemble. I really like the cup holders are attached at the arms and not at the bottom. We seem to have less spills.

    • Couldn't be easier to use for the booster seat version with no back
This is as simple as a carseat is going to get. You just sit it on your car's seat, put your child on it, buckle them in. There's no leveling, no adjustments, not even a way to attach it to your car with latches. You literally just set this in place and you're done. It also arrives with no assembly required (this is apparently not the case at all for the version with a back). It feels very well made. The plastic is strong and just a little pliable, the cushions are comfortable and very well sewn together. The seat wipes clean easily too, and you might as well throw a blanket on it before you sit your child on it. It's comfortable either way, but a little better with the blanket and obviously far easier to clean if there are any issues. Behind the two cups are ramp-like things that direct the seatbelt in a comfortable direction. It's pretty easy to figure out how to do that. In use, our daughter is perfectly content. She misses all the pillows that kept her head in place in her previous carseats, and it's clear this isn't quite the same level of security, but it's nice to see her transition closer to not needing a seat at all. The seat doesn't connect to any point on the car like a latching carseat would, but the base produces enough friction that it will hold in place pretty well. It is easy for a squirming child to push it forward and wedge between the booster and the seat, so this is best for kids who have learned about "no" and listen when they are told to stop. But with a seatbelt in place on a child, this is not going to be a big problem in an accident. I think this is a pretty good product for the price point, but it would probably be better if it secured to the car. It's also a much better option for a seat with a lot of depth and larger 'sides' (so a sportier looking seat) so your child stays in place left to right. It's also so small and easy to store that you could leave it in your trunk just in case you happen to need it. My toddler says it's comfortable, but she's also talking about the nice seats in the car, which are better than her stiff carseat with all the head cushions and four point harness.     • Nice Booster Seat
We have been using this booster seat for a while now and it works as expected. The child likes that there are two cup holders, one can hold a drink and the other can hold some snacks, if needed. Unfortunately, the cup holder was too small for a small kid-sized (stainless steel) water bottle. This booster seat doesn’t have a back, so it is easier to transfer and move around, which makes it great if you need to switch cars and/or for carpooling. The booster seat we had before this has anchors you could hook into the base of the car’s seat, but this one doesn’t (which is kind of concerning), but it still works fine as a booster. It also has a strap you can connect to it to attach to the seatbelt so that it fits in the right place on the little one. ... show more

This booster seat is good, but not my favorite at the price point. It is a very basic, light weight car booster seat. There is nothing wrong with it, but there is also nothing special about it either. Everything about it is just middle of the road. It's not bad, but not top tier either. There are similar car seats from other brands that sell for around the same price that I actually like a little bit better because while very similar, they just seem to be a bit heavier duty and made from slightly better materials. This is a review of Evenflo GoTime No Back Booster Car Seat (Static Black). The benefit of the no back booster is that it doesn't take up a lot of space, just make sure your child is old enough to use this. Certainly, putting the seats down when you need to make cargo room is much easier with a no back booster because it can fit on the floor and not take up a lot of space. The build quality is decent except that there are sharp edges underneath the arm rest. It may not cause bleeding, but it's uncomfortable on the touch to say the least. The arm rests aren't padded either, just solid plastic. But this is a budget no back booster, less than $30 so can't complain too much ... show more
