Honestly, I think this item is EXTREMELY over priced. I live in a room with no central air and it’s really small. I did the whole ice thing and closed my blinds but to be honest it really didn’t do much for me. I get the same results if not better with a high velocity fan. I truly enjoy this product and it's my second one purchased! I mostly use this one for my work office since I have no control over the heat. I prefer the cold and this one does the job. I will say though, I am currently waiting on a reply from the vendor on getting replacement filters! If I get a reply, this will change from a 4star -> 5star for customer support. ... show more

At first it worked great. However, the unit has a feature where water travels upward to the inner compartment. That is, even if it's not at max compacity, a big issue when the water being held is right next to the circuit board and doesn't have any protection. I gently bumped into it today, causing the water to go into the "Divider" and it damaged the circuit board. The unit won't turn on at all anymore, it kept beeping for a while like if it were low on water, and then it just died completely. It's no longer functional, so to anyone looking to buy this product be weary that you never bump into it or this design flaw could happen to you as well. ... show more
