At first it worked great. However, the unit has a feature where water travels upward to the inner compartment. That is, even if it's not at max compacity, a big issue when the water being held is right next to the circuit board and doesn't have any protection. I gently bumped into it today, causing the water to go into the "Divider" and it damaged the circuit board. The unit won't turn on at all anymore, it kept beeping for a while like if it were low on water, and then it just died completely. It's no longer functional, so to anyone looking to buy this product be weary that you never bump into it or this design flaw could happen to you as well. ... show more

Great addition for the summer. Only downside, if you move it while on the ground with water in it. The water would splash and destroy the inner motors. Making it not functional.

This product went bad in less than 30 days after I received. It seemed to work okay, but then one night it began to start and stop on its own. I unplugged it, replugged it and all of a sudden it illuminated with spark and died. Amazon told me to contact the company that made it, then they told me contact Amazon. It’s a shame what I’ve had to experience, causing me to lose faith in Amazon and in appliances bought on the internet. I truly enjoy this product and it's my second one purchased! I mostly use this one for my work office since I have no control over the heat. I prefer the cold and this one does the job. I will say though, I am currently waiting on a reply from the vendor on getting replacement filters! If I get a reply, this will change from a 4star -> 5star for customer support. ... show more

It didn't even last a year. Bought in March and it's September and still in the high 90s here in the desert and it just decided to no longer work. It turns on but won't blow any air at all. Motor is not working. Waste of money as it never really cooled like advertised anyway. You have to fill it every night so you'll be using alot of water. It was better than nothing while it worked but yeah......Over $100 gone 😖 ... show more
