I bought this air cooler primarily to use in my car ( as discription said it would work for that) WRONG WRONG WRONG! Unless you held it less than 1 foot away from you while driving, the breeze was not strong enough to feel. The unit also leaks. It leaks both on a completely flat counter and in vehicle. Driving with my window open in 95 degree weather was more cooling than this. Perhaps if you were sitting in an air conditioned house and put this in front of you while on the computer it might feel some sort of cooling effect. Sorry but this product is NOT WORTH THE PRICE will be returning this ... show more

    • Very bright light and is more like a regular fan.
I bought this for my son who is a hot sleeper. But it lights up, and is really bright. It’s very small and doesn’t necessarily cool the whole room. It’s more like a fan with cooler air. It will still get used, it is simply not as great as I’d hoped and I can’t use it for the intended purpose.

The media could not be loaded. I really like the cooler, only cooler that actually cooled down my place a little compare to other brands. But after only 2 weeks looks like the filter got damaged or clocked up, the water in the tank just sits and nothing happens. To much hassle to try to fix this or request support from Evapolar and notice that the filter his half price of the until so if it breaks after 1 month you will have to send 50% to get it going again ! The filter is just paper and should not be that expensive ! ... show more

    • Works for humidity, but not AC at all
This does not work as an AC unit whatsoever. This is completely falsely advertised.. it only gets two stars because I can use it as a humidifier for my lizards tank. It is extremely noisy as well, so it is not good to have at night.. portability is very limited. So far after a few months, the lifespan has been fine, but no promises.. It is a little bigger than I would’ve liked, but it still is really small, as stated I would only buy this if you need a humidifier not an AC and even then I would just buy a regular humidifier. ... show more

    • Amazing compared to other personal coolers !!
I’m writing from hotter-than-hell San Antonio, Texas. I’ve got a backyard shed that is not electrified. I don’t know how many swamp-cooler personal coolers I have been thru, where you add water and ice to a top chamber, and it drizzles down infront of a fan. I got so underwhelmed that I bought a portable RV airconditioner for 900 bucks. Well, ChatGPT brought this one up…. I thought “what the hell” I’ll try it. My jaw is still on the floor… WOW, this is what basalt does when it absorbs just plain tap water (no ice) ??? Today, the shed was well above 90 … doesn’t matter… it takes in that hot shed air, and out comes at least 70 degrees ! Of course, this is not a room air conditioner… it’s meant to blow on you and cool you alone, As I sit in there, I aim it to my face and neck. Very delightful cool and a quiet fan and motor. I’ve only had it couple days, but I’m writing out of amazement of this cooling technology, The basalt cartridge should be exchanged about once or twice per year, depending on use it gets.     • Not worth the price. Barely any cooling. Better off with a fan
Ok. How is this any different than a fan lol? I tested it at all fan speeds. Barely any cooling whatsoever. Might as well brand this as a humidifier instead. Seriously, buying a cheaper fan cools you better than this crap. Don't listen to those reviews that say it cools you down a little. Once you compare this to any fan, you'll realize how big of a scam this is. And yes, I used it for its intended purpose meaning I sat in front of it like 1 to 2 feet away. Also if you have it plugged in, get ready for a permanent LED that can't be turned off unless you unplug it. Say you want this to fall asleep to? Welp can't fall asleep in the dark anymore. Just don't buy this. Seriously. A fan does a better job at cooling you than this. In fact, I get more breeze from a fan a few feet away than this device right in my face. You will also have to spend $30-40 on a new cartilage every 3-6 months. ... show more
