It will grind whole dried Thyme, but not great for whole dried Rosemary. Doing peppercorns it works well if you only do a little at a time.

    • Cheap plastic part wears out quickly

The piece of white plastic that holds the grinding rod is too cheap to hold up to grinding for any length of time. The hole in the plastic simply wore too smooth to hold the metal rod firmly any more--so the ceramic grinding parts are no longer engaged. So the "25-year warranty" on the ceramic parts that actually grind is useless. ... show more
