This was a very long-considered purchase. We looked at every available model out there, but this was a much needed upgrade, and eventually we had to make a decision. It came down to Eurmax and ABC, and then down to this model and a newer Eurmax one. After reading both descriptions carefully, this one had better reviews. It is bigger and heavier than our first canopy, and can be unwieldy. Don't let it get you off balance. It is taller than me, which was intimidating at first, but thanks to reviews I was expecting that, and I was expecting to have to let down one of the seats in my SUV to accommodate it. Our old one fit perfectly across the back seat. This one, I had to let down the seat behind the front passenger seat and reconfigure my packing, but I actually like the new configuration better, so I have made my peace with it. I am still getting the hang of putting the cover on, getting the wheel plate under the legs, but this cover is much easier than pulling the old one all the way down and then having to flip it over to zip it up. And I love the velcro at the bottom. Speaking of love, the walls are a dream come true! We use the one with the door and the window as our back wall, to allow wind to blow through. Putting them up the first time was hairy; it was 100 degrees and I was using a collapsible step stool on uneven ground. I finally got three up and couldn't zip two of the corners. Had to do them all over. I figured out two things the hard way. First, zip the back and one side together, velcro them to a back pole and then attach at the top. Second, if you're not tall, Velcro at the top before you raise the legs to your desired height. Duh, lol. I have some minor handicaps and needed a canopy I could manage on my own, quickly, that wouldn't exhaust me. I believe I could put it up entirely by myself, but so far I haven't had a chance to try. All of a sudden, all my fellow vendors want to help me. I have never wanted to play with my own toy by myself more, but no luck so far. I think it's because most vendors here have a Eurmax and they know how to do it. I have taken it down by myself, and so has my mother. I like this one because it's easiest to take down one side then the other, rather than opposing corners. And I love the clips rather than the little buttons. Heavy duty zippers that will stand up to repeated use, quality stitching, durable fabrics, sturdy metal and plastic, very well made. So far it's a wonderful purchase with a great package. I only wish they would get the awning back in stock. But our fall craft fair season has been so much easier this year already thanks to this purchase! ... show more

I bought this last summer for Saturday markets and it’s in fabulous shape, looks brand new still! Extremely easy to put up and take down, I’ve done it by myself. Having another person to help pull the frame open definitely helps but before and after is easy to put up by oneself. I love the Velcro sides that zip together, I easily attached the sides without the zips to block sun when needed. You definitely need weighted sandbags on each leg for wind. It looks great and does the job, very professional. Also, the bag it comes in is wonderful! Easy to put the canopy in, do it while it’s standing upright, not laying down. It has Velcro at the bottom for extra security, the wheels are actually decent and work great on a solid floor/ ground. I wouldn’t recommend wheeling it over gravel. I like the two soft handles on each side, easy to carry if you have a little muscle! Highly recommend! ... show more

and there was a problem with the first, even though very sturdy, but was replaced right away. I used it a dozen times at the farmer's market. I'd the best tent out there. Good design, well built, and has velcro.

I Really like the accompanying bag with wheels for portability. It can mostly be put up by myself, although more efficiently need a 2nd person to expand & the final "click" lock of the roof took more strength than my hands could muster. Likely will get easier when not so brand new. I do wish there was a tent stake pocket on the outside of the bag. The little pockets inside are just practical for paperwork setup directions and room for not a lot more than the tent. I love that the tent top can be left on the frame when packed dry into bag. Note: see recommendation notes in manual. I never pack it away wet or damp. I put it barely up (Roof on, but not sides, staked+ roped tabs of roof down to additional c-shaped tent weights, then legs down as low as could go) in preparation for a festival starting in two days while knowing that a severe wind storm would be coming with strong sustained winds and greater than 40 mph gusts and 2"-4" of rain. I had one professional who travels throughout states at various fairs try to convince me to not put up Eurmax 8x8 as he stated a big storm destroyed most tents into pretzels at a Michigan fair. But I needed to try and keep that ground dry and needed to save day-of set up time and show our location, do this needed to happen. I told him I have a previous purchased Euramax 10x10 over my back yard picnic table right now that has already withstood 3 greater than 40mph windstorms since this spring. !!! I staked AND weighted AND secured those roof corner & center tabs, roped corners downward and very securely roped to the weights as well. The first time, I sat UNDER the 10x10 (half up ~ bend to walk under and no walls) during the wind and rain and put my hand on the scissor rafters and could feel the strength of the structure as it flexed with the gusts of wind, but didn't bend, crease or move! Returning to the festival on Sunday which was cancelled on Saturday due to severe wind/rain storm ... two of the professional's big tents were damaged... and one literally tradhed and in pieces... but our Euramax 8x8 just needed ropes loosened to extend the legs and we were ready to get ourselves and items in. I am so sold on Euromax that I now have sold other organizations on it too. And no... I have not gotten any compensation for this review & I don't work for them. I am just the kind of person that believes in sharing good things with others. Although manufacturer stares that these shelters are not meant to be left up more than a few days. I had a need that gad my 10x10 up from arrival in Spring, through summer and fall and now the beginning of winter. I hope to be able to no longer need it and take it down very soon. One small snow fall on the 10x10. Just brushed off the crunchy snowtop next morning & good to go! I did get the 4 walls set for the 8x8 and attached. must make sure that the 4 corners are pulled all the way down into the peak of corners before attaching to the very strong velcro and attaching walls. One of 4 walls had a mid wall zipper for entry exit. Beautiful! Another time I attached blue tarps with tarp bungy cords and what a difference the indoor and outdoor temp was during very cold weather !! Great for working longer outdoors with my plants and sorting work on cold/rainy days with less sunlight. My Eurmax purchases are easily some of "favorite things"! ... show more
