I purchased this because I routinely work on outdoor projects during the summer and I needed shelter. This is my second summer using the popup canopy tent. In both cases I have set it up in May-June and left it set up until the end of August. I have it in a relatively sheltered area next to my house. I use the sandbags and also have the corners tied down with rope and heavy objects to keep it stable. We do get thunderstorms but rarely very high winds with those. It has been fine in winds that are 30 mph or so. I use several of the walls and it keeps me dry even in heavy rains (1 in per hour type of rain.) I love it and am so glad that I purchased it. The 10 by 20 size does require two people to set up with both people being able to lift heavy items. ... show more

We camp a lot and have seen less expensive versions be suitable in the short term - but if you want something to endure - this is a great option. It comes with the walls - and that makes the world of difference in rainy or windy weather. It has the walls ready to go up with velcro, and then zipper tied together - another great feature. All the materials and structure are quality for the price. This is the preferred canopy of our large camping group - and I have personally seen it withstand extreme rain and wind when properly tied down. Keep it clean and dry, and inspect the screws periodiacally when storing, and this should last a very long time. Set up and take down is simple but better with two people. Purched and have used it twice. It's sturdy and canopy top & walls are thick. It is definitely a 2 man set-up and husband & I struggled a bit to figure out specifics (only ever used one once & it was YEARS ago). Luckily there's videos on YouTube and we figured it out. After trial & error we realized sides needed to be zipped to 1 side before attaching velcro across (then Zipper next side and continue around). Im not sure what crazy origami specialist they use to put top & walls back in that carrying bag .... we just put them in a storage totes & labeled ... MUCH EASIER!. Going from my cheap sun canopy, this is surprisingly well made. It will take me a while to get used to putting it up and taking it down though. It is much larger and heavier than what I have used in the past. I am short, so it was a bit of a struggle and putting up the side walls is going to require a stool or a lot of stretching and reaching, but I think it will be worth it in the long run to have a sturdy canopy. ... show more

We love these and it has become something we stock for our maintenance crews who work outside. As it was for stock and not immediately needed, the last one we ordered, the stock room didn't open it right away. When we did open it, we found that it was just the frame, even though we ordered the complete setup. Unfortunately, it had been so long, we didn't even try to get a refund. The media could not be loaded. I live in Northern California, and I bought the 4-sided 10x10 Eurmax canopy over 2 years ago, after my previous canopy (different brand) completely crumpled in December of 2020. Originally I bought it for leisure only (I created a backyard ‘grotto’ with play sand , water fountains, and hanging chairs during the lonelier COVID-19 times. I unexpectedly had to move into a large RV on Nov 1, 2022. As I was scrambling to find a secure storage spot before the winter hit, I was forced to batten down the hatches as best I could in a very last-minute attempt to secure my belongings from the impending storms. I discovered that I had lost one of the canopy walls, and as this was located in a very windy, very flat and industrial area near the bay, I had to strategize how to secure the structure from severe wind and rains- possibly for the duration of the winter. This was very, very important to me, as it would contain several cardboard boxes of books, as well as an antique wooden tea cart that my deceased grandfather had once built and polished for my grandmother. We set about securing the frame and three of the walls to the existing cyclone fence (as well as the attached barbed wire), and purchased a large, heavy duty tarp for the remaining wall. Several tie-downs, ratchet straps, bungee cords, and ropes later we watched the first of what would become an especially tumultuous season of driving and unrelenting rain, record-breaking wind speeds, and torrential storms that would break all local historical weather records (and continues to do so…). After the first series of major storms, I was afraid to look (I had a friend check the reinforcements). But despite gusts that felt as if this rather large RV would be whisked away (in fact the RV’s awning frame now looks like crumpled old wire coat hangers), that canopy and walls remained remarkably stable and unmoved. Like, at all. By Feb 1 I was able to move my belongings to a more ‘secure’ location. When I checked the ‘damage’, I was surprised to see that aside from a few unhappy cardboard boxes, my books were absolutely in great shape- no evidence of mildew nor sogginess, and the tea cart looked exactly the same (along with several bookshelves, a large chaise lounge, several more boxes, and a ton of plastic totes). Aside from the chaise lounge (which I hated anyways, and was a little bit soggy), everything was in amazing condition. Structurally, there was nary a dent nor bend…nothing at all that would reveal the level of storms it had just been through. It was so solid that I decided I had to leave a review- two plus years later after (still enduring) a miserable winter, a lone, thin fabric structure in the middle of a wind tunnel. I will absolutely be purchasing from Eurmaxx again (although I don’t see a reason to do so yet…aside from the original missing front wall…) Thanks for keeping my stuff safe! ... show more
