This Gazebo Shelter needs 2 people to assemble. Assembling it was not difficult, but it is better to do it leisurely on a good day with a calm mood so that you can follow the instruction carefully. Every part was labeled with a number or letter, they supposed to fit precisely with another part, if one metal pole didn't go into a paired part, try matching it with another pole, don't try to force fitting it. We are happy with this product, though there was a minor dent on the steel grid panel, that doesn't affect us to give it a 5 star.

This was easy to assemble, once I understood the instructions. Not as detailed as I expected, but I figured it out. Took me a few hours to put it all together... But then I was taking my time. I am so happy with this. And totally regret not getting it a long time ago. It's hot out now, but I see so comfortable BBQing underneath it. So much cooler than before!! No more late night BBQing, having to wait for the sun to set... now I could barbecue no matter what time it is and no matter where the sun is.

So - it’s just me, and I put everything together I myself. It took me about an hour or so, if I had help it probably would have gone a bit faster. It was fairly easy, it’s very sturdy and the perfect size for what I needed. I really like the red/maroon color and it seems like it’ll work well. The LED lights inside are simple and need aaa batteries. They push button on and off. I would definitely buy this one again!

Now.. I am no slouch when it comes to following simple assembly instructions. But to call these instructions "Basic" is really an understatement. Don't tighten screws until you are sure. And I'm still not certain why the side shelves are last. Somewhere they printed this two-sheet illustration and some guy screamed "WAIT!... The Shelves!" I'm sure it was in Chinese but I don't do reviews in Chinese... Only for Chinese food. That reminds me. Putting this thing together in the Houston sun makes me want a drink and some Chinese for dinner... I'm not cooking outside... It's too hot even with this nice new shade.

While I like the color and overall look of it I was quite disappointed that it did not measure to be 5x8. It is about 4x6. I think that the vendor should put that very important detail in the description. I emailed the vendor and was asked if they could send me a replacement canopy and then I could return mine. Not sure how replacing the fabric piece changes the problem, it’s not the size as described. I kept it instead of returning the gazebo since it was a bit of a pain to put together. Although everything is labeled it sure doesn’t clearly show that you need to have the poles a certain way or else other pieces won’t be able to be put together. Also, the canopy piece was such a tight fit that I almost ripped it trying to pull it over one of the pieces.
