I bought this portable AC unit as a backup in case my primary goes down since I have a dog and cat and it's been super hot lately - not good for them when it gets too hot. It was on sale during prime days so I thought it was worth buying. It works as advertised and while it makes a little noise, it wasn't too bad given how cold the air blows. Unpacking it was easy and getting it setup and working was seamless. The window exhaust worked well in my windows, but I can see using tape or foam to seal it a bit better. I cranked it down to 60 degrees with high fan and I could just feel the cold air pumping out of it. It's compact and rolls for ease of movement. I recently bought one of these A/C units. I looked thru all the choices and picked this brand because they made Fridges and I figured they would have compressor experience and it`s ratings were good.It arrived faster than the delivery date estimated, which was good since we had a 100 degree weekend and I knew it would be uncomfortable without it.After unboxing and setting up which was easy. I let it do it`s thing.Quiet running and a good cooling , but it started to get a mechanical noise. It got loader as time when on. So I contacted the manufacturer,they were fast to reply and got into action fast. They needed some info and I made some videos of it running. Very hard to hear the noise because of the fan up close. But i think it was audible when i got across the room. Anyhow they stated they would replace it and I hope I get it soon because Summer is not over. The fit and finish are very good and cooling power makes the family room very comfortable even when it gets to 100 outside. the touch panel controls are very cool too.I can recommend the unit and the people at the Customer Service are top notch. ... show more

I measured a 32 degree difference from input air to output air which is excellent. It's not an outdoor unit meaning don't get it wet but I use it to push cold air into a roof top tent. There are units designed for this which weigh less and have a "one handed" handle but don't work well for two reasons. The fans didn't blow much air and the output air only dropped 12 degrees which isn't good enough. This unit isn't exactly light but I'm only lifting it to and from the back of my SUV and it only takes up one square foot of space. I did have to create my own air connector / hose which was about $80. It's insulated so the hose only loses 7 degrees on a 90 degree day meaning the tent gets 65 degree air. The manufacturer could tap into a new market with a front air connecter like they do for the hot air. UPDATE 8-22 - Worked so good on my roof tent I figured I would try it indoors vented through a window. Instead of using the supplied plastic piece, I opted to use a standard 8" shelf board. Cut the length and a 6" hole; tightened the insulation wrap to to the AC connector using a Velcro band. Works great. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Honestly not worth the money. First it came to me late. Which wouldn’t have been that bad if it was actually something that was worth it. Noise level is pretty bad. Always sounds like something is blocking the fan. It came with piece broken on the side. Now getting into the functionality, it was pretty hard to hook up the hole to the window adapter. Had to get different one since the one they send wasn’t allowing the hose adapter to connect properly or stay in place when adapting it to the machine. As for cooling, it’s very meager compared to other ones that I’ve had in the past that were a fraction of the price. Furthermore, you would think for the price you’re paying you would get an AC unit that doesn’t need a hose to drain or the need to have a constant exit hose plugged in to work, but I guess not. It was just a headache to deal with overall and having to put everything back in and return it is going to be a long process. If you can afford it get something better with less noise and less aftermarket parts you need to buy. ... show more

LOVE this AC!!! Works great. Exactly what I needed. Cools my 900sq ft apartment to around 74f (outside temp mid 80s with a ton of humidity) with no problem. It really dries the air out too. It was very easy to install. One note: I don't think I'd want it in my bedroom, the fan is not super quiet.
