I needed a 2nd, small wine fridge for my weekend home, particularly in summer months when the interior can get very warm when we're not around. This little fridge is (so far) a real delight. First, it is amazingly quiet -- I'm sitting about 10' away and can't hear it running. Second, it actually has room for pinot noir bottles - not just on one shelf or in a stack, but on each shelf -- so it really has the capacity it advertises, which you may know is very rare in wine fridges. I needed a wine fridge to store my collection and this was a great first choice! The fridge is quiet enough for me to keep it in my living room and it maintains proper temperature through even the hottest summer day. I really like the blue light feature to subtly show off my collection and the visual confirmation of the temperature I set it at. I would give this product five stars, if the shelves slid out easier as it's sometimes hard to reach the bottles stored near the back of the unit. I don't recommend this product. Unpacked, plug in and waited for temperature to drop to manufacter's setting. After waiting the recommended 24 hours, I tried to change the temperature, nothing. Light didn't come on, temperature didn't change, door never locked. So it has a damaged control panel. After 4 or 5 emails to company noted in instruction booklet, still haven't gotten an answer other then hold light button for 3 seconds, Ha. After it was running for several hours the sides got very hot, so I unplugged. Fire hazard. Also, part of back is open where the wires and condenser are. Don't like that either. DO NOT BUY. A waste of money. Trying to return, but says I need original box which I tore up getting product out. ... show more

received the unit and read the manual about noises! I had the unit set for 42 degrees and it never seem to shut down so i increase to 45 degrees and its a little better. Not running as much and this with very seldom opening the door! Any suggestions??
