This fireplace arrived. We ordered it to recess it completely into a newly built wall. It states in the manual to not cover the intake vent which is on top of unit to our understanding. Yet it would be covered if you fully recess it into a wall. A bit confusing took time to research whether this would be safe or not. otherwise, seems like a good product.
